In the original style, your natural hair would be the left out curly pieces. She's saying she's glad she doesn't have to leave her natural hair out to get matted or tangled in this style and still achieve the same look. Hope this helps! @@AKMcCoyInc

I have some kinky curly bundles!! My hair is short like yours is in the front. I’m going to start wearing my hair like this, but with a middle part and braided towards my ears on both sides. I think the hair I have my be in shorter lengths and a few of the darkest three colors.
In 2015, I was using a very similar hair on a weft(synthetic) called Mamba hair. It was a little longer than the hair you used. It was my signature hairstyle. I been looking for the hair for years. Nice style

Aww welcome. It’s more of a loose curl but not wavy. Kinky is fuller than the tropical. Both are very pretty curls.

No I didn’t but I’m sure if you are able to salvage the hair during the take down you can use it again.

Yes or use longer extensions so that the braid is still thick the longer it gets

Praying you see my question 😆 I'm about to do this style on my super fine hair but I was planning on box braids vs knotless so the braid can be thicker than my thin section, starting at the root. did you do knotless because theyd last longer?
I did knotless to make it look more realistic. But I’m a little confused at your question. The braids I have are box braids but the technique is knotless. Are you saying you wanted to add hair as soon as you braid vs starting with your hair then adding extensions? If so, both techniques will last the same amount of time.
@@HairDeLaCreme My mistake! Yes I was thinking box was a traditional start with Knot. When I do box braids with kanekalon I braid my hair to start, crochet a small section of braiding hair into my braid, then using that as a 3rd leg, I add a slightly larger section, folded over and braid. So I have braiding hair from the root and theyre uniform thick. But it leaves a Knot! Thank you for clarifying 🙏🏽
@@HeartHelyn I think if you do that method and leave pieces of hair for the boho look it will last a good amount of time. Try to use good hair for the curly leave out parts or it will be a tangled mess.
@@HairDeLaCreme I've got milky way and a brand I bought from an influencer that passed the human hair test but..maybe I shouldn't use the myster brand for leave out. I'd be bummed if human hair got tangled in like a week
I did small box braids cause my grip game isn't the best and I haven't mastered feeding in hair. It still looks natural. Mine are short which makes it natural looking as well. Using kinky curly bulk human hair provides movement and little maintenance.

I used a trifold mirror. I showed how I parted my hair in my 30 inch loc video.
That is beautiful. How long that you keep that style in? I’m sure it was more easier to manage than synthetic hair.
I still have it in so the answer is 2 weeks so far. So easy to manage! When I say it looks like my hair!

@@janellestuart4269 if you want a shorter look you can but if your hair is shorter than mine and you want the length I have then you will go longer or add more hair as you braid down. Let me know if that makes sense.

Take down was easy. Since it’s human hair I put conditioner to make the hair soft. Detangled with a comb then took it out.
I'm going to try this one sis. Good test before having to commit to locs.

@@HairDeLaCreme 6pcs for each braid? Do you do a inside or outside braiding pattern? I don’t understand the part of the tutorial where you said you turn the hair upside down at the end? At the end you braid a little past your natural hair.
@@janellestuart4269 outside braid pattern. When I say upside down I use the bottom of the track that’s cut at the top and the part that’s cut on the bottom.
