I'd like to go back to Zakuul for at least one story beat. Get a daily area and rep there at most. They had alot of detailed maps there that are going to waste right now

I'd prefer if they built upon existing romances instead of adding new one. Like you said, my characters have been in these relationships for years, and I would prefer to see more content for them.
Both my main characters (Human Male Scoundrel Smuggler and Human Male Defense Jedi Knight) romanced Theron but I've seen less and less of him with every update. I'm thinking that Theron's story arc has run its course while Lana's role in the game has grown. Oh, well - it is what it is.
Someone should ask them when that Hidden Chain story is over and when we see Republic vs Empire again. They rode that Mandalorian Storyline for too long! And they should "unite" some storylines again and introduce a new emperor. Maybe a certain rumor is true and a certain Sith can step up again, some day?
I want them to bring back class specific stories, even to go as far as hope for revisions and updates to old xpacs where they had deviated from class specific stories. So class specific hutt cartel, class specific eternal throne (where it actually makes sense)
Giving players the ability to kill major characters also adds to the voice-acting overhead. You need the spoken dialogue for "Koth Vortena comes to the rescue in the shuttle", but if you killed or banished him, you need the spoken dialogue for "Arcann comes to the rescue in the shuttle", but if you killed him, you need the spoken dialogue for "Theron Shan comes to the rescue in the shuttle", but if you banished him, you need the spoken dialogue for "Lana Beniko comes to the rescue in the shuttle". This is all very well for the voice actors' salaries, of course, but it does mean spoken dialogue, being recorded, which the player may never actually hear (unless they are a total lunatic, like me, who is now onto his eighth Outlander, in my desperate bid to play it through in every possible permutation - which is why I know that this is actually a thing).

Okay, listen, it does not matter what they write in this interview, its all edited through and through anyways. One thing from our char`s perspective they should not only 'coinsider' but actually cater to, is our status! And I`m trying very hard not to swear right now, in all honesty. We are cool, strong, powerful and must be taken as such by EVERYONE, not be forced to run errands for those beedy-eyed Voss freaks, or help with other minor chores. Also, opponents like Sahar`s brother are supposed to be cutscene-kills at max, not some broken 5-hit-KO death-machines we have to actually run from and use exploits to not die to! And also - why the hell is Sahar voiced, while my char is not?! Make her mute too, but don`t regale my Sith Lord to a silent side-kick in her own adventure! Great story telling, my ass!
I do hope the current Mandalorians arc concludes soon, i did not dislike it but it has been dragging. And i think we need new fresh enemy characters centered around the Empire vs Republic conflict, with exceptions like Jadus or Vaylin that we already expect to return. And the whole romance part makes sense for very story central characters. But on the side, over the years some of us have been waiting for a male dark side romance on the Sith side and at this point i do not even know if Rivix will happen or not.
Vaylin isn’t in the same tier as Satele, Malgus, or Jadus, who are all older characters who had established relationships of their own. She is in the same tier as Arcann, and that one was a main story character who became a romance.
It would be crazy or a great plot twist if we, as the hand of Darth Jadus, for the "reborn Jadus" all Darths, including the Empress Acina/Emperor Vowrawn in the Council of the Sith, were to be brought down in order to represent the Empire Darth Jadus as a trusted person /Hand of Jadus at his side will take over the empire and run it as it is in Jadus' visions. For me, Jadus would be "the Emperor" according to Vitate in the Old Republics. We all know what power Jadus has. And I think that Malgus will also play a big role in that. I think Jadus and Malgus share the same vision. What will this mean for the alliance? (fan fiction) She will collapse on purpose, spoiler!!! like in Act 3. with the Imperial Intelligence.
The last time the story in the game was actually good was shadow of Revan. I haven’t really liked all this alliance crap they should go back to the roots of empire versus republic.
If the story remains the same quality as now, we need WAY more, Far more frequently OR.. They can keep the current pacing, but write quality installments. Infrequent 2/5 writing isn't going to cut it in 2025. I know with how much we all spend on the Cartel Shop, that they can expand their writing staff as much as required to meet this goal. This is the most expensive MMO to fully fill all the item slots with custom pieces. None of which are earnable in-game. SWTOR should act like it, and raise the bar off the floor.
Does anybody actualy care about the current story at all? I mean... It started so many years ago and we still know nothing. It's just so not good and so slow. I liked it at the start, but it's so stretched with focus on god knows what. God, these last few years made me love KOTFE even more. I know, no PVP or such. But the story, the story was packed and it allowed to flesh various companions. If the story continued like that (god, I wish we still had option to replay newer story). I never liked Kaliyo while playing Agent. But I loved her during KOTFE. Same with Scorpio. To this day I'm really mad that we didn't get all the class story companions for all characters - they made them totaly irrelevant nowadays, so why can't my Consular have her own Corso Riggs? They introduced Rass Ordo in 2020 (4 years ago), at this point, he should have been permanent companion. His involvment in story is same as class companions used to. We just don't really see him and since he is not regular companion, we don't really have the need to care about him. Akaavi should also be every class companion now. Why they said she's at our disposal, if we can't really use her? (I get the hate from people who say 50 companions is too much. But Akaavi is in the game since launch; removing theic unique skills made them all same so why not let anybody have who they want). This game, just as any other MMO, needs to expand. Giving us 12 minutes of cutscenes with moving camera doesn't expand the game. It's one time thing that's just as fast gone and forgotten as it came. Yet another daily area which is going to be dead the next patch is not really helping. Giving us companion who isn't really your companion is not expanding this game. The new invasion points (don't remember what they call it) are great addition. But it's 1 thing in 4 whole years. This in combination with the poorly done story is just shameful. What was the point of the story on Ord Mantell? It was such a huge distraction. What was the point of story on Voss? To insert some stuff to show how much current devs hate traditions and thing all people who held them are evil? Because other than that it was waste of time as we learned nothing. If they want to add new daily area, then fine, but make it its own thing with reasonably motivated quests from actual quest givers. Don't hide it behind "main story" tag with nothing important to the main story. Imagine if all vanilla quests were done like that, that we never really learned anything. Back then, there were quests that didn't give us the info we were seeking, but it gave us some other intel that helped us move forward out goal. The current story doesn't do that. And in combination with nothing new - just yet another daily are with reused assets and armor sets that were in files since vanilla or in beta (and I'm not talking about cool stuff, stuff that we couldn't have. but stuff that is just another recolor of thing we can get from doing at least two other activities). It's just heartbreaking to see, instead of expanding in any shape, we're getting watered down story that leads nowhere and wastes players time. Nobody is going to read it, but I just couldn't help myself xD

Nox went from taking shit and being the most powerful Sith to a Sith that gives in and does as he is told. I play as the Sith Inquisitor Darth Nox as my Main. I cannot express enough how much it pisses me off that Nox went from being a Badass to a lapdog. Like jeez at this point the new Dark Council has every right to tell Nox what to do. Like seriously Nox or the player is literally the most powerful character in the damn game. Yet we gotta sit there and deal with our idiot council members. I mean hell the only Dark Council members that actually know us won’t fight us anymore are Acina, Vowrawn, Shaar, and Malgus. The rest of the council is cocky and doesn’t hesitate to try to challenge Nox. Uhh no. They need to take Acina’s example and sit down before Nox puts them in their place Like Norok found out. The only reason I feel like Acina hasn’t tried to challenge us especially directly is due to the fact Not only is the player the most powerful but she knows we will not hesitate to put her in her place. Further more the others that i mentioned won’t challenge us directly for this reason too especially since they knew us before then. I’m getting annoyed dealing with the new Council. Personally I want a scene where Acina tries to challenge Nox and gets taught a lesson by Nox. It would be better than nothing. because the Council thinks they can tell Nox what to do
I think that as Darth Nox, you are actually the true ruler of the Empire but Acina is used as the person on the throne. Actually I prefer it like that, cause it makes the story easier to move. What I would like is to actually show scenes where the other sith or in general other individiuals ackwoledge Darth Nox's authority. He was even like the galactic Emperor for a couple of years. Also they should also try to increase the areas that PCs are operating, I can't believe that we are still using Odessen as the only base of operation sin the galaxy.

I realized I mistyped a lot of stuff in my previous comment. I just meant I hope they don’t bring back Vailyn/Syl I hated/hate the throne expansions, and couldn’t stand Vailyn or Skytroopers. The 2 expansions really hurt my love and enjoyment for the game. I do respect if you like Vailyn (although I don’t get why) I found her intolerable and a useless, bland character who long overstayed her welcome. I do want to enjoy the new story patches, I am mixed on the mando story. Has it been dragging? Oml yes, but I enjoy Rass Akaavi & Torian having some scenes, and romance or flirt options. I want Rass to be a romance option some time. But I tell myself everything after Ziost isn’t canon, because I found the storytelling to be bad after that story. That’s just me though. The only thing I will not understand, & think how? Is if people say they miss and like skytroopers. lol 😂
Yeah I want to be nice, but they're just watching mandalorian on repeat, they've lost an understanding of the priority of the lore, if you a shine a light on the underworld of bountyhunters, mandos and smugglers too long and forget about the sith and jedi it ruins the underworld and legacy of sith has damn near killed the lore love of the game, this to me is by far the games biggest weakness at this point, it's been 3 years, what have they been writing?
I just want a sequel equal to The Eternal Throne

Issue is we have too many characters from star fortress missions that the characters we gain went no where :3
at least if they'd let us change their clothes. Ot even make customizations for them. Let us at least make them space barbies if nothing else at all.
