I have a 7artisans 35mm f.95, it's also de-clicked, which is a bit annoying because I always have to double check I haven't changed the aperture, but it can be useful when shooting video.
Hey, FYI, the aparature ring might not be broken, they make these lenses with de-clicked aparature - common with cine lenses, but it might be different for this particular model, idk. besides that, nice review :)
Hey, David! Thanks for leaving a comment! But I'm pretty sure mine is broken, haha, because when I went to the 2nd hand camera shop, there were two copies being sold of the lens, one was more expensive because that one had no defects, I just chose this one because the price was a no-brainer and I'm used to using manual focus anyway so the overly-slippery aperture ring doesn't really bother me.
Guys, I received this lens for my Fuji x-s 10 today. And when I hit the record button nothing happens... The most interesting, that when I use remote control from my phone, I can record the video and take photos, but to make a video for example, right from the camera, it doesn't work. I have a 18-55 mm lens and everything is good. Can someone tell what can it be?
Hey, Polina! Since this is a full manual lens, it doesn't have a way to communicate with the camera so it thinks you have no lens attached. Just go into your settings and switch on "release shutter without lens". That'll do the trick.
The original 7artisans 35mm f1.2 is without aperture click. And the mk2 is with aperture click. I know it because i has writen with 7artisans about the difference between the Versions. I prefer the original because clickeless (for video good) and it's character.

Try the original and save 80 grams. It is also an entirely different optical formula, the original is a sonnar lens
The previous owner probably did that for video purpose i guess
Hey, Daniel! You could be right! Do you have one too?
