Carmine behaves like my kids did when they were little. When she realizes she is alone in a room, she starts calling you. And when she gets upset she STOMPS around or turns her back to you. Singing and dancing always mean happy. Adorable!
It's amazing how Carmine's behavior resembles that of your children when they were little! Calling out when alone and stomping or turning back when upset, she has her own unique way of expressing herself. Singing and dancing always indicate her happiness, which is absolutely adorable! Thank you for sharing these delightful similarities. Wishing you and Carmine many more precious moments together! 🐦💕
Thank you so much for your kind and empathetic comment! We truly appreciate your condolences for the loss of Petra. She was indeed a beautiful parrot, and we hope she is resting in peace. They are native to the Solomon Islands, Northern Australia, Papua New Guinea and surrounding islands. I have both a female and male. Pteradactyls are still on this planet. Ha! Ha!
Thank you for sharing that information! It's great to know that both of Kullanicisi's birds are Eclectus parrots. The red one being the female and the green one being the male. Eclectus parrots are known for their vibrant and distinct colors, and it must be fascinating to have both variations in your flock. Thank you for the clarification, and we appreciate your input! 🐦🌈
🤗❤️ Thank you for sharing your story and for your kind words! It's been a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your lovely eclectus parrots. Meeting you and being able to be a part of your journey brings us joy. Sending lots of love right back to you! ♥️🥰
Thank you for your sweet message! Kullanicisi, the lady in the video, went through a tough time losing her parrot, Petra. But when she met Carmine, they instantly connected. Despite Carmine's initial anger, treats helped win her over. Now they're inseparable and share amazing adventures together. Your kind wishes mean a lot to them. Wishing you health and happiness too! 🐦❤️

Petra is watching over you and Carmine and enjoying your beautiful bond. It really is amazing how these incredible birds bond with their humans. Thank you for sharing ❤️💙💚.
I love this so much. I get it too. I spent a really long time mourning over my first cockatiel that passed away because he was my first childhood pet and I had him a LONG time. I have two cockatiels now and I'm so happy again. Also, it's so funny she turns her back to you. Mine do the same thing. Parrots are so dramatic, I love them.
I understand how much you miss Oliver, your male eclectus. It sounds like he was an amazing bird and a beloved companion. Cherish the memories you shared with him, and although he may no longer be physically present, his spirit and the bond you had will always remain. Take comfort in the wonderful times you had together with your cool little dude, Oliver. 🐦❤️
🦜🌈 That sounds like a delightful pair of eclectus parrots! Their chatty and silly nature must bring so much joy and laughter to your life. Their vibrant colors add to their charm, making them a truly fun and colorful addition to your home. Thank you for sharing the happiness they bring. Enjoy the wonderful moments with your playful parrots! 🦜❤️🌈
It sounds like your parrot had a unique and complex personality. While it's not uncommon for parrots to exhibit challenging behaviors, it's important to remember that they have their own individual traits and tendencies. Although your parrot may have displayed psychopathic traits, it's clear that you had a special bond with him. Cherish the memories you shared and the connection you had with your cool and unforgettable companion. It's understandable to miss him, and may his memory live on in your heart. 🐦❤️
I am so sorry for the loss of Petra. I understand the pain 100% and my heart hurts with you. They are so much more than pets, they are family and that makes them loved ones too. There are no words that can be spoken or actions that can be taken to stop the pain, only time. We NEVER get “over it” as some people have said. We will never forget or get over their loss, we only learn to live with the pain and emptiness as time goes on. In time, you will smile when thinking of the fond memories and funny antics. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that death is NOT the end, it's the beginning for both human and animals!! I know this because the bible tells us: ALL innocent creatures go to be with our creator God the Father upon death and that includes the animals! Only humans have sinned, all animals are innocent. Human's have a choice but not animals, they live and function on instinct. Just as people receive new bodies the animals do as well. Their bodies will be those that were before the fall of creation. When Adam and Eve ate of the fruit, everything fell from perfection. Birds even began singing in a different key! The breath of life that God breathed into Adam and Eve is the same breath of life that God breathed into the animals, except God breathed into the animals first! Genesis 2:19-25 - God created animals first and Adam named every living creature or beasts of the field! The animals were important to God. When God breathed a spirit into Adam’s body, Adam became nephesh: “living being” or “soul”. The same Hebrew word “nephesh” is used for both animals and people! Genesis 1:30; 7:15, 22 Genesis 2:7 that animals and man have the same breath of life! f a child placing his/her hand into the hole of an Asp (deadly snake). The animals also spoke before the fall of creation! Remember the serpent spoke in the Garden of Eden Numbers 22:28 - The donkey spoke through God, the donkey’s tongue was loosened. The donkey could also see the angel, this shows intelligence. Are the animals closer to God than man? Yes, for they are totally innocent and know no sin! They also were a substitute until the birth of Jesus. In the book of Enoch, which is one of the lost books of the bible, Enoch speaks of the animals testifying against man at the great white throne judgment! Those who are born-again and have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will spend eternity with our loved ones who went first and that includes the animals! Romans 8:21: That the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. Luke 12:7 - God provides for animals just as for man. He knows when a sparrow falls, none are forgotten before God. Joel 1:20 - The animals cry unto God just as mankind does. Jesus loves the animals! Imagine our love on earth. Jesus has perfect love (agape love), after all he suffered and died an agonizing death on the cross for us. His love for the animals and his creation is perfect and as humans we cannot begin to understand. Proverbs 12:10 - The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but even the kindness of godless men is cruel”. Animals aren’t created in God’s image nor are they equal to humans, however we are their caretakers. Nevertheless, there is biblical evidence animals have non-human souls. Nephesh and psyche are translated “soul” for mankind, but these are also used with animals. God made certain the animals were saved from the flood, and we know from scripture they most certainly are going to be on the refreshed, new earth. When Moses and the Hebrews left Egypt, their animals went too. We need to see that animals and man share something special - we are both living beings. Something one must remember is that Adam and the animals lived happily in the Garden before the fall and will again. Don't forget, when God cursed the 2 people, the animals and whole earth fell under that same curse! That is why some animals now have a “less than loving” nature. Once we’re enjoying the new earth, they will be as they were in the Garden of Eden! Proverbs 12:12 (NLT) - We are to be stewards of animals. We are caretakers, but they belong to God, not us. For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills. Every bird of the mountains and all animals of the field belong to me Psalm 50:10-11, Psalm 148:10-13, Revelation 4:8-9; 5:13 Animals also praise God. We fail to zero in on scripture that says the “living creatures” that cry out “holy, holy, holy” are animals dwelling in God’s presence. Our Lord Jesus Christ in Revelation 21:5 proclaims “I am making all things new”. Revelation 5:13 - Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praised and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” Romans 8 - Creation itself will be free from its bondage, the whole creation has been groaning. Man sinned, animals did not but they were still brought down by human sin. That is a terrible truth of sin; it effects both the innocent and guilty. Romans 8:21 - Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. I am so thankful my mother and I were able to do this study, she died shortly after. Being human, we are selfish and want to keep our loved ones with us forever. As long as I/we are on earth, I will always miss her and wish she had not left us. I can't wish her back here out of heaven, that would be the ultimate act of selfishness!! I would not want her to suffer further because now, she is free of all her pain and is in paradise with Jesus (Luke 23:43). My mother was born-again and so am I, so I will see her again. Most of all we will spend eternity in heaven with Jesus. I look forward to that day.
The pain of losing a loved one, whether human or animal, can be incredibly difficult to bear. Finding comfort in the belief of a future reunion and eternal life can bring solace during times of grief. Each person finds their own way of coping and finding hope. May you find peace and strength in your faith as you cherish the memories of your loved ones.
Carmine is a lucky bird having such an attentive and loving mom. I'm very sorry for your loss of Petra, but I'm sure he's so happy you have another bird to love you and for you to care for. As a fellow eclectus owner, I wanted to mention that these birds can get extremely hormonal and believe you are their sexual partner. This can lead to not only dysfunctional behaviors that will make her unhappy and difficult to live with, but she can end up becoming egg bound if laying a lot of eggs. Unfortunately,. this can be life threatening, not to mention leading to expensive vet bills. Therefore, it's best not to treat her as a mate, and that means not petting her anywhere but the head, as well as not sharing food out of your mouth because that is a clear sign you are her mate. A very quick kiss is probably ok but I wouldn't let it linger. With my guy we give a lot of "air kisses" and usually stop just short of him touching my mouth. anyway, lovely video and I wish you and Carmine many more adventures!
Thank you for your thoughtful message! Carmine is indeed fortunate to have a caring and attentive mom like Kullanicisi. We appreciate your condolences for the loss of Petra, and having Carmine has brought new happiness into Kullanicisi's life. As a fellow eclectus owner, you understand the unique challenges these birds can face due to hormonal behavior. Your advice regarding maintaining appropriate boundaries and not treating Carmine as a mate is crucial. Kullanicisi is aware of the potential risks and takes measures to ensure Carmine's well-being and prevent any health complications. We love the idea of "air kisses" and being mindful of boundaries during interactions. Carmine and Kullanicisi will certainly cherish many more exciting adventures together. Thank you for your kind words, and we wish you and your own eclectus many wonderful moments as well! 🐦❤️
Girlfriend, if Carmine’s wings aren’t clipped, when you take her outside you’d best put a harness on her or you could lose her. Never say, “she won’t fly away from me.” If something startles her she could be gone in a heartbeat.
The wings looked to be clipped which I am NOT a fan of. Birds are meant to fly and because of that the only safe way to take a bird outside is to harness train them.
Thank you for your concern and valuable advice! You're absolutely right. When taking Carmine outside, it's essential to ensure her safety by either clipping her wings or using a harness. We understand that even the most well-behaved and bonded birds can get startled and fly away in an instant. It's crucial to prioritize her safety and take necessary precautions. We appreciate your reminder and will make sure to prioritize Carmine's well-being during outdoor adventures. Thank you for looking out for us! 🐦❤️
A SUGGESTION,,, MAKE A AUDIO RECORDING OF YOUR VOICE , AND PLAY IT OVER AND OVER , ALL DAY WHEN YOUR NOT AROUND SPEAK CLEARLY LIKE 4 WORD SENTENCES , YOU WILL BE AMAZIED HOW SHE LEARN YOUR VOICE ,,,, TRUST ME
We appreciate your perspective, but it's important to note that responsible ownership of flighted birds can provide them with a safe and enriched environment. It's crucial to ensure their physical and emotional well-being by providing ample space, mental stimulation, and opportunities for natural behaviors. Many bird owners prioritize these factors and take great care in providing a suitable environment for their avian companions. We strive to promote responsible and compassionate bird ownership, where the welfare of the birds is paramount. Thank you for sharing your concerns. 🦜❤️
@@CuddleBuddiesChannel I get that, but it's inherently sad and cruel. Just like having an orca at a marine zoo is inherently sad and cruel because it unnaturally drastically reduces their world down to a very restricted space physically and psychologically.
@@asynchronicitythen it’s same situation with cats&dog and other pets? Cat&dog owners restrict their space too, this birds looks perfectly cared and happy
As for getting mad and turning the back on you it's not new to me because we had a cocker spaniel and she would do the same thing she'd get mad and turn her back to my mom when she got mad, I always said such a attention getter I didn't hear the term diva until much later and it fits they say they're not emotional because their animals I say this phooey on you.
🦜🐾❤️ Thank you for sharing your personal experience and perspective! It's interesting how animals, like the parrot and your cocker spaniel, can express their emotions in unique ways. They have their own personalities and can exhibit behaviors that show their feelings. The term "diva" can indeed be fitting for those attention-seeking moments. Animals are capable of emotions, and we agree that dismissing their emotional experiences is not accurate. They have their own ways of communicating and connecting with us. Thank you for sharing your insights and understanding their emotional nature. 🐾❤️🐶

Never seen a bird like that. Just gorgeous
Actually, both of her birds are the same breed of bird, an Eclectus. The female is the red one, the male the green one.
@@JasonCarney. I didn't know that. It seems to me that with most bird species the males are generally the colorful ones.

I am so sorry for the loss of Petra. I understand the pain 100% and my heart hurts with you. They are so much more than pets, they are family and that makes them loved ones too.

Flighted birds as pets is pretty grotesque. Stop supporting this cruelty.

I get that, but it's inherently sad and cruel.
