This is pretty much my reaction when I test rode one. It's still pretty much the reaction every time I get on the one our garage now. The maniacal laugh followed by 'hooolyyyy sheeeeeit' when you open it up never. gets. old.
I never comment on videos, but more reviews should be like this. Sheer grin factor instead of all that technical drivel. Makes me want to go out and buy one now, and I ride a GS! The roads look fantastic too.
Tommygun75 Thanks so much for your comment mate! I had some technical drivel planned but I forgot it as soon as I sat on the bike. If you have a spare truckload of money then definitely get one haha
i used the lowest power mode to just to get used to the power delivery but once you shift a couple times there is no other way to ride it then full power it really cheapens the experience to ride it in anything other then that.
guitarman0365 I did the same thing for the first couple of hours on my Diavel. But now I have it in Touring mode for 75% of my riding. I put it in Sport when I feel like scaring myself!
Ashok the Viking I actually had an order in for an RnineT that I cancelled after riding the Diavel. I love the look of the BMW but it's quite expensive for a "modern retro" bike. Though I think the BMW would be a much better low speed/city bike as the Diavel is pretty big and cumbersome in comparison!
The Darnz I live in Norway where the speed limits are low. Based on your feedback, I think the RNineT makes more sense but the Diavel just seems cooler even if you can't get out of second gear. Your reviews are quite good.

What are your thoughts of the Diavel vs. the BMW RNineT?
