Surprisingly good strat for Ogres. You only need two or three of the big galoots to pass their bonehead tests, and/or you can give the ball to a gnoblar, who has sidestep.

Necro too. Stand firm on both flesh golems and sidestep/block on the wraiths makes this an absolute shit to play against.

Best team for this is Necromantic. Imagine the shock when you line up two Flesh Golems in a wide zone. Scored so many TDs off this.

When I first started playing Blood Bowl I would always try and attempt to use launch pads regardless of the team and always got crumped!!
One thing I've noticed about me getting a bit better is study the team I'm using and it's strengths first and rely heavily on stunties and dodge!! Lol

This works great with underworld with a ratogre. he can blitz a opening (maybe push the player over the side line and then move away from the sideline. the line rats make the front of the side cage. the snotlings wil screen and the goblins will protect the thrower :)

I tried to use this the other day... it didn't work my opponent threw a snotling into the middle of the cage hitting the ball carrier (Human catcher) and a Blitzer too!!

There aren't really any real rules against it. Some leagues might make their own rules.
The only thing that can happen to you that's negative for stalling is a really rare event. You have to get a prayer to nuffle, roll that particular 1/16 event then any stalling ball carrier will be knocked down on a 5+ for the drive.

Do you think doing anchor defense vs ag as khorne would be a good idea to force them to sidelines/sidecage so you can get easier surfs?

Yes, definitely. I had a league championship Tomb Kings team where I put Frenzy and Stand Firm on my Blitz-ras. Surfing is a very underrated way of removing opponents players.

I've only recently started playing BB and these videos have been gold for me!
I play dark elves and wanted to ask quickly. Would it be worth running 2 side cages?
2 blizters and lineman carrier each side and having you thrower hand off or pass to which ever launch pad is open?
Or is this asking for disaster?

Only if you seriously outnumber your opponent or it will leave you with no players to help screen your side cages. The screen I would say is at least as important as the side cage, and dark elves are not fast enough to just rush through like skaven or wood elves. You also do not have as good a thrower as those teams, your runners are only okey (passing 3+ and no Pass skill).

Hi Lance, Not unless you have the Strip Ball skill (and that won’t work against Monstrous Mouth or Sure Hands)!
But pushing the ball carrier off the pitch… 😏 that’s the dream!

Why would you purposely mark the players in this scenario (20:33)? I ask because with Skaven, Elves, etc you're playing the AG to your positives (which is normally NOT being able to take a hit). It makes more sense to force them to dodge around you or WASTE their blitz. Don't give them easy blocks.
