What a cool variation! Just means he's extra special ❤. My bristlenose plecos have a "pug-nose" gene that just popped up. They are AMAZING looking. Imagine a pleco with a cute pug face!
    🎉Congrats on your unique fishy!

No it’s actually a genetic trait but it’s extremely rare, there are a few diff trait for L46 but the only successful breeder I’ve seen who mass produce them is from Indonesia tho it’s not available in the market yet as he doesn’t sell them yet. Eventually it will be release in a few years
From what I know the guy has been producing them since 2020

I guess must be wild caught.

suspect its not a pure breed l46. Possible to be an offspring of a l46 + l333

No that’s a unique trait. There’s one breeder in Thailand producing a lot of these (thin lines) JR line etc etc zebra pleco. But he doesn’t sell them just of yet
He is mass producing them. Eventually he will release it in the market

Hi man, i just found your channel. Great vids.
Im trying to get in to pleco breeding. Which L numbers do you recommend to go trough to work my way towards l046?
I have a random couple now. I had fry once. A eggbatch 2nd time but he ate them lol. Damn

Start with bristlenose, then L333, then L260, and then you'll be ready for L046!

Hi, I only just come across your channel.. I will be giving you a like and a sub after this comment :)
Ummm... with this pleco, it's a possibility of inbreeding, it's also a possibility of a zebra breeding with L333 or even L236sw?
Either way he has striking patterns and quite unique ❤️🔥

What food did you feed them?

How many males and females do you put in the breeding set?

    • @FoisyAquatics
      @FoisyAquatics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like 2F to 2M or 3M in a 20G Long

Do you think that could be from too much inbreeding?

I suppose it is a possibility!
