I wouldn’t have guessed they prefer the closed end. Im used to utilizing pvc pipes that offer easy escape for mbuna tanks that are heavily stocked. Breeding plecos in bare bottom tanks is a different animal 😅

I have 5x 2cm - 3cm l46. I was wondering. Is it best to raise them in a breeder box or should I put them in their own tank (70cmx40cmx40cm) set up?
I raise fry in breeder box until around 0.75" at least
