I disagree entirely, my parents did way more for me than I could possibly pack back, and they are gone, my payment to them is to be good citizen and honor our name. My mom lived long enough for me to put on my badge as a law enforcement officer, she knew right then as she helped my wife pin it on that I indeed heard every thing she said!! She was too sick to know I retired from my local sheriff's office, but I am sure they both know I turned out good!! @@howtogoat3282

OH YES I want my parents that close! It's my biggest dream. Davie I did engineering because of pressure from people since I was an A student but I was also a very good fine arts student. I have always neglected my artsy side but no more! You have inspired me to be true to myself and take on my passions seriously that being videography, design, photography. I am starting my journey in digital marketing in January. Thank you for your videos I just discovered you like a month ago and I've watched almost all of them. We are the same age. I'm starting my journey late but better late than never. Keep doing the good work as always

Absolutely fantastic that you have managed to do something for your mother and father. As a son, you could never pay back what sacrifice your parents have done for you, especially your mother. Nevertheless, your parents are well deserved for this awesome gift. Well done Davie.
I was able to do this, but you have to keep in mind the cost of upkeep and make sure that either you can afford the upkeep or that they can afford the upkeep.
With larger houses there are larger electric bills, maintenance bills, property taxes, etc. Some things I didn't really consider on my own end when I did this. Luckily we're in a place to help pay these extra expenses, but it was/is a setback in my own financial goals since I wasn't to smart to consider these things up front to start with. Had to tweak future goals to be more in line with paying all these extra expenses for them on an ongoing lifetime basis.

I’m going to be honest, I have never seen your channel before. But just seeing this one sums up for me who you are as a person @Davie Fogarty. You are a kind hearted, considerate, thoughtful person. Doing this for your parents I think is just wonderful. The whole thing made me cry. I would have loved to have done this for my mum, I saw her struggle all her life for us children, even to the point of seeing her sell her wedding ring to put food on the table. Unfortunately she is no longer with us due to losing a battle with cancer, and I could never in my wildest dreams of bought her a house. I wanted to pay off her debts and it saddens me that I couldn’t even do that. Cherish your mum and dad @Davie Fogarty whilst you have them there. (as I know you will). 😊
