- Rush Hour On The Conemaugh - Cheswick, PA. Enjoy a railfan video along the Norfolk Southern Conemaugh Line just outside of Harmar. Along Freeport Road, I was able to find a well-lit spot to catch some trains at night. I had seen one going eastbound on the tracks. Caught it in this spot. When I had left, along my drive home, I had seen another immediately on its way behind the first train. This would happen over and over again with a few trains, including a local. A fun and active hour and change on the line. Had foreign power from BNSF as well as Union Pacific over the course of the hour and change spent here.

Awesome catches. The lighting there was great. Traffic can be a distraction, especially trucks. Trains must be speed restricted going through town and pick up speed after they leave town.

Wallie, I just saw a train tonight after my event ( I went bowling and the track is near the bowling alley I went to). My mom and I caught the middle of it though so I don't know what the name of it was. The crossing lights didn't have bars or bells, at least I don't think they have bells as we were only a few cars back from them.

I did not! I still don't know what it was. The weather was just fine that night.

Well Wallie, the railroad gods may have smiled upon you but the truck gods are just raining on your parada, or should we say photo bombing your videos.😂😅How many trucks photo bombed you? Some of the trucks looked familar, I will ask my friends and relative if they were in the area. 😅maybe get them to try not to photo bomb so much. I will try. But they , like the trains keep this country moving along.❤ Goddess bless the train conductors and railroad folks and goddess bless the truckers.
