Just my 2 cents lol. They call it stuffing when it’s put in the bird and dressing when you cook it like you did. I just learned that a couple years ago. I always put eggs in my stuffing ( I put mine in the bird) but I really like what you made and it is very moist so that’s an important part. Thank you for sharing. So this was awesome, I get all my best recipes from you and everyone loved this but I must add the following. First, I used straight cornbread. Loved it. Second, I took the left overs, added like 1 egg per 3 and made crab cakes. Holy crap. Best use of leftovers ever!!! 100% better than standard crab cakes!! Crab cakes and football, best post thanksgiving leftovers ever!
Ive done your sausage cornbread stuffing the last couple years. Good stuff. Made a cajun crawfish stuffing to stuff a smoked gator for a 4th of July block party that was good. Gonna have to do that seafood stuffing next time for the gator!

Perfect balance and layers of heat and lemon. I’ve stopped using the regular Bay seasoning and use this on all my seafood, dips and even pasta dishes. Delish!

Hmmm… I would NEVER use the bag cornbread!! I would make my cornbread from scratch Period!! And it really doesn’t take that much more time!! Actually multi task… have cornbread (from SCRATCH) in the oven while your stock is cooking!! None the less, good recipes!! 😋-I will try the seafood one, but all from scratch 🫡🫶🏽

Make your cornbread from scratch, period! Nobody uses bagged cornbread!!! Also, there's a difference between dressing and stuffing. The dressing is made with cornbread, while the stuffing is made with bread.

Toasted square bread. Different regions of the country choose the term i guess. I like both but prefer CornBread dressing..which is not stuffing. Not being an ass but to me this is stuffing. I bet its good as hell though.
I'm the same way. I prefer a chunkier style. I've used the bagged product a few times as a time saver but wasn't happy with the end result. I'll either buy a couple 9x9 pre-baked loaves from the store, cube it up, and dry it out or bake a couple 9x9 loaves with Jiffy mix. That way I can control the size of the pieces. They still crumble because of the nature of cornbread but it's not as fine as the bagged. Plus everything is mixed a really larger bowl by hand to keep things intact. It's bit more labor but not too bad. And I'll add about a 1/4 cup of Baileys.

My late auntie always made oyster dressing! I thought she was the only one.

You can use either one, cornbread or cubed stuffing mix (or both). 🤷🏾♀️
