Thanks for posting this. I wish my starter bolts were as clean and corrosion-free as yours.

Glad to help! Some penetrating fluid will help but yeah I know what you mean.

@@MIKESBUILDZ just a quick update, my starter is fine. It's actually a disintegrating engine ground strap that is causing the no-start. This can be tested by jumping the negative terminal of the battery directly to the engine block (I used a jumper cable). Hope this helps someone in need; if you have power to your main wire, and power to your starter wire during ignition crank, then it's not necessarily the starter. It could be the ground strap (or less common, a chafed starter wire).

Yes that is very possible too. I’ve had a similar issues in the past. I will pin your comment so other people may find it easier.

And you guys are worried about the spark plugs!!??😂 Look at that dirty engine. That's a sure sign of a person who doesn't care or worry about their cars. I have had many spark plugs that look worse on perfectly working cars.

Two big problems with this video. First he didn't warn people about taking the negative battery cable first and last. That's always a thing to pay attention to. Second is that he didn't even show the car turn on. So it's possible he didn't even do it right. And another thing about the starter. Mine went bad and it never made a sound. The battery dying makes those sounds trying to start.

Literally the first thing he did was remove the negative battery cable.…
