I've always found Tie's to be the best fighters and bombers. While many say the rebels have the better fighters and bombers, I've always thought you'd be better off in a tie
It honestly depends on the model in my opinion. A base TIE Fighter or Bomber, you're going to be in for a rough time going up against an X-wing or A-wing. However in some of the more advanced craft you're going to give them a run for their money and can even consistently come out on top. For cost-effectiveness though, nothing is going to beat the TIEs.
If I had my own TIE-Bomber, in civil conditions I would convert it into a flying camper. Of course I would have cut out extra windows for him around the pilot's seat and maybe in the distant parts of both hulls. I would also suspend additional fuel tanks and install a few halogens and searchlights for camping in unknown terrain. Greetings from POLAND. :)
At least the TIE Boarding Craft made an onscreen appearance in Rogue One. Anyway maybe you should do a part 3, talking about about fanmade TIE Bomber variants like the TIE Turbo Laser :P
TIE Turbolaser (if you and I are thinking of the same craft) isn't fanmade actually. It originates in the X-wing Alliance game and is part of the TIE Experimental program. People have asked me a few times now about doing fan-content which I might do at some point. Unsure honestly but not out of the realm of possibility.
Ah, we aren't talking about the same craft. I did a little digging and I think I found the thing you're talking about. The five-hulled bomber variant with turbolasers mounted all around it right? That's certainly a ship!
Actually the one i’m referring to looks nearly identical to the TIE Bomber but the ordinance pod is one giant laser. www.deviantart.com/marcusstarkiller/art/Twin-Ion-Engine-variants-486894953
@@StarWarsDidYouKnowI really love the image (the one made by Marcus) due to it’s ridiculous and imagination, but I am disappointed some are still left out like the TIE Recon, TIE Boat, and the TIE Training Variants.

Thank you, I'm writing a star wars story about a dark sider who pilots a gand starfighter/bomber and I found this to be very helpful.
I'm glad to hear it. I hope you'll have fun writing your story.
The Bombers are awesome
I've always been partial to them myself I admit.

That's actually incredibly clever and would make for an amusing little personal craft.
Nicely thought out.
Another great video, glad to be able to contribute in some small way. ^_^
Thanks a bunch for helping out.
Really means a lot to have some visual representation.
@@StarWarsDidYouKnow Again, the pleasures all mine. :D
I guess better than being the one who "inspired" him to make the vid in the first place >.>;
@@JohnMasterCheif Oh?
@@JohnMasterCheif don’t sell yourself short, because that also means you’re partly why I got to draw something so fun. ^_^

@@youwayo oh Marcus, I know them.
Worked with them a couple times now.
And I love it, there are three different TIE Turbolasers then.

holy fuck...there was a lot more than I thought @_@
Yeah, the Empire got very busy creating variants of the TIE Bomber. Evidently it was a very capable platform for expansion.
