Came for the bouquet tying, stayed for the text quips in the upper left corner! Thanks for helping this DIY bride have confidence I can do my own bouquet!
Super helpful video - all of the techniques you demonstrated looked beautiful 🎀 Also, side note, I actually said “Oh yay!” out loud when I saw you had a new video up today 😊
Can you do another video on transportation and set up please? Having a hard time estimating how long the set up for a wedding would realistically take even after prearranging all of my centerpieces etc and figuring out how to deal with pieces in transport that are done in chicken wire. Just trying to figure out if I should hire a day of help to focus on putting urns and centerpieces out if it will take more than 2-3 hours of set up. Thank you always for your videos
Yep, that's on the list! I have a kinda janky transportation video but we are planning on making a more thorough one. Popping them on the table doesn't take long, the hassle for me happens when I can't pull up close to the venue. If I have to haul them in on carts up an elevator that is the worst. Can you easily pull up to the venue? I typically spend about 15 minutes loading the cars down. If it's not hot weather sometimes I'll load them the night before in my car, but that's only if it's cold.
@@FlowerMoxie yes! We can pull right up. Only problem is that set up is only allowed three hours prior and my planner thinks she she should be able to put everything out and do the arch (I would prearrange like you showed us) I don’t know if that would be possible. Logistics on the arch rental is something I’m worried about as well since I don’t know where I could keep it/who would set it up. Makes me question if the planner will have too much on her hands
@@remij9592 3 hours should be plenty of time, and even better if she has a buddy! Popping centerpieces on the table doesn't take any time, then she should hang the arch flowers and give her a bucket of extras to backfill....then after that, she should head back into the venue to eyeball the centerpieces to adjust any holes and use any leftovers to backfill. At least that's my method. XOXOX
Newbie here! This has been my question for diy. Who sets up your decorations? Do people do it the night before? Or have friends and family do it? Or like you're doing, have a wedding planner doing it? I suppose a lot of it depends on the venue and when you have access to it. What about packing up? I'm assuming most people don't set up themselves on the day of since it takes too long to do hair and makeup..
It's all about the Pixie Pins, sis! I briefly mentioned them, so it's easy to miss. After years of flesh wounds, I switched to Pixies and never went back! I sell'em here if you're interested: diyflowersupply.com/collections/floral-supplies/products/pixie-pins

So helpful! I’ve been wanting a video on this. Also LOLing at my TH-cam user name that I have no clue how to change 😂
Lollllll, well I love that you're here, Baby Monkey!!!!
Love!! I ordered silk ribbon and have been wondering how you’d do it!
Love the side comments
With the straight pins for the ribbon, how does the bride not get poked?
