This pedal is amazing beyond every words,I stick with envelope mode most of the time, and it works fantastic with electric and acoustic guitar. One of the best envelope filter ever. One thing is important to know, this pedal require adapter, coz it need to be feed with constant power, its very hungry pedal,so not daisy chain or battery, coz it will start to act strange
My opinion is it works better with a bass than with a guitar. When used with a guitar, it sounds too brittle and synthetic in a cheap way. With a bass, it really rocks.
With all of the unusual and radical effects available now, I wonder why you so seldom hear any guitarists using them. I think Hendrix would laugh at that.
I picked up one of these pedals cheap a little while ago and for me it would be so much better if they'd given it a volume control and an expression pedal input, but hey... it is what it is :O)
So, I've only got the one, and I'm still getting used to all it's settings, but It's great value for price (I got it for £40, it's usually £90) but you do get all the awesome different sounds from it. I can go from funk to sounding like I'm Chris from Muse to dubstep with it. overall; a great pedal with lots of versatility. Recommended for anyone. bear in mind though, that I'm a bassist rather than a guitarist, if that has any change on anything.
I don´t like Wahs with moving parts. I prefer my Boss Dynamic Wah. It´s better than other Wahs on the market because is not ONE single input, actually is 2 wahs in one. In order to get that wide open vocal throaty fx out from it I always plug my Strat on the BASS input to get that lower frequencies and avoid unwanted bright ones, keep them out of the picture. I´m on the quest to find another Wah but IK Multimedia gave 3 Wahs on Amplitube 3 so I´m spoiled with Wahs ( Now I have the best of both worlds :Soft and Hard ).
i bought this pedal and i like the pedal but i wish i would got a real wah pedal. if you do scremo, metal, or techno then this is the pedal for you, if not then get somthing elts.
Adrian X Stacy Complicated circuitry has to access a lot of modes. True bypass is simply on/off. Also you can tell by the type of switch it has . Synth-like pedals are almost always NOT true bypass because of they're complexity.

I picked this up from my local music store along with an old Morely volume pedal and they make quite the combo.

A pedal like this is definately NOT true bypass. C'mon now.
Why do you say that?

I heard that Hendrix bloke never had true bypass on his pedals. Apparently he sounded OK.
LOL..... you're right! IMO a crybaby and probably a Fuzz Face should be true bypass. Most pedals on the market react well each other.
@@Ston247 the line 6 fm4 is true bypass
X series woyld be geeat pedals if there bypass wasnt shit
