Unique stage door tip ! Travelled to see Crazy for You’s final show last NYE at Gillian Lyne theatre. Family needed assistance to seats in the Circle. Only lift access is basically via Stage Door and back corridor. So after show we followed musicians out…..with hoards outside to see Charlie Stemp and others. Unfortunately I am not a spitting image of Charlie but had wished we’d stayed around in corridor to have met stars before meeting the crowds (….”Who could ask for anything more” !!!)

I would like to see Hayley Atwell in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing in London next year who is an excellent actress from the Marvel movies and the Mission Impossible franchise. The production also stars Tom Hiddleston from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Nicole Scherzinger was excellent in Sunset Boulevard 😀

Might go see Sigourney Weaver in The Tempest. Not your calibre or West End but I saw Woody Harrelson and Andy Serkis in Ulster American at the Riverside Studios they were both amazing especially as hadn’t seen Andy in human form before, just CGI.

Stage door is definitely a matter of luck - most of the time I do get to meet the cast and get autographs/photos at the stage door but for example I tried 3 times for Sarah Jessica Parker and all three times she didn't do the stage door (and there were people there who had tried even more times than that!). With Tom Holland I had a selfie stick with me otherwise I would have not been able to snap him due to the massive crowd. Aside from Broadway, London's West End is definitely the place to see stars in plays/musicals.

Definitely agree! And it also seems it can differ from night to night for the same show. I think for the big stars it’s almost a given they won’t be doing it or they’ll just come out to wave at the fans and leave immediately. Still, nice to see them after the show. ☺️

@@KristinaEmilyOfficial yes stage door experiences are fun (when the weather is good). And most of them are really friendly and nice!
