I have been doing these for a couple of months and they have really been helping my bjj and conditioning recovery time and on top of that these improved my hip flexibility and cured my hipflexor pain. Really amazing stuff! Cheers!
Wow I just finished my second open mat ever today and got killed... this routine eased much of my suffering. I'll be doing this every day. Awesome video! 💪🏻
Nice Sebastian. The stepping to the outside on the lizard stretch is really good. Being able to bring your thigh to your ribs makes it very hard for your guard to be passed. I've started stretching every night, often after getting home from jiu jitsu. I am 53 and I couldn't possibly train with the same intensity without stretching and rolling on an assortment of balls and rollers after every session. I have only just grasped the point you made in your "mistakes" video about not going so deep into a stretch that it becomes agony. Just go to the deepest point where you can establish relaxation and take it from there.
Im Not really from Bjj world, but I just want to say that my annoying back pain is gone after one time doing the 5 stretches! For shore Il will keep doing it ! You're awesome !keep doing it!
Hi, thanks very needed video. Could you please explain, is it important in the pigeon stretch, to have knee in 90 degree angle like you had... I cant do it, feels just weird, I’m better off in much smaller angle, perhaps 30 to 45 degrees, then I can also go lower towards the floor with pelvis. Thanks, great stuff!
I saw you had some yoga for judo (the uchimata video) and I would love to see some more of those. Maybe kouchi gari, ouchi gari, tai otoshi, or o Soto gari
The only thing better than the yoga In this video is your comment at the end about prioritizing care of your body. Spot on. Thanks for all your work
Best yoga teacher voice ever !

I'll be adding these stretches to our BJJ class's cooldowns. Here's to more fitful sleep.

haha... how did you know my favorite pose after bjj? great stuff
I don't think I can squat like that feet flat on the ground. Is there a modification I can start with until I can get my feet flat? Thank you.
Just widen your feet out until you are comfortable and squatting best for you 🤙

This was fucking brutal I'm crying 😂
