That's a good idea but I would have to outsource them because I don't make stickers at home and I just don't want to spend more money on it than necessary as I have to budget my money for my small business being as small as I am. It's just easier and cheaper to do it this way and having them on a separate cards means I can give them away at markets and conventions too.
@@AbiNova I'm newer to your channel so I'm not sure exactly what you have equipment-wise. If you have a thermal printer though, you can create stickers on there and it won't require ink which is nice. I've been thinking about doing that with my own as well, I'm super new so I've been having to pick and choose what I get for it. But of course, it depends on if the thermal printer you have can print various sizes/ and if you can change the settings to it. Everything takes research when starting up and I still have a lot to do myself XD And you could always get a stamp with your social media accounts on it if you don't want to write it out. I've been debating on doing that as well in case I make a mistake like that too because I feel like I will eventually hehe
I placed an order around Christmas when you were sick. I love everything I got. I so wish I could order right now. It makes me sad to hear you aren't getting orders. ❤❤❤❤
Aww, thank you for your support! Getting no orders is totally fine! It happens when growing a small business! It's a part of the process, and it allows me time to shift my focus onto other stuff so it's not all bad! 🥰 I just want to show and talk about getting no orders to help normalise it so people so feel so alone when growing their small businesses! 😊
Hopefully you get the coffee I bought you today! When I make tumblers (just personal crafting) I make sure to wrap the ends really tight. Good luck! So satisfying and fun to make!!
When I was selling on Etsy - I sell on Amazon handmade now - my shop only got seen after I paid for a lot of listings - maybe 3 pages worth or so. Otherwise yeah it started out slow with only a couple of pages worth 😊 so yeah it may be an investment money and time wise in the beginning to get things rolling over there. If you have things under $5 like stickers if you could list them as bundles with coordinating items that may work best - especially for your international customers who would probably with the shipping fee would like a bigger purchase 😊
I just found you and I’m glad I did. I needed this reminder today! I’m a new author and was in my head about no book sales on my site this month. My book is every book are sold so I’m speaking of my site alone. You really cheered me up and made me want to re-open my Etsy card business cuz your tumbler are so cute! Thanks again.
Grateful to have come across your video. I started my business late last year and had orders when I launched and since then it’s been dry. I haven’t had an order since I launched😭. I sell beer can glasses from South Africa.
Hi! Etsy small business owner here too! Honestly, if you didn't mention that the seams in those tumblers were overlapped I wouldn't have noticed so I think there's no need for you to sell them as wonky. But I understand the struggle to try to make everything perfect. Sometimes we see flaws where there really isn't. It's really hard to get sales but the process is really fulfilling😄
your enthusiasm is so refreshing!! it's nice to see just how excited you get about the auto press!! i used to run into that issue with the edges and the slight fade but i found if you add tape along the top edge and bottom round edge it seems to help! it's a little more work but the payoff is great!! 😊
I saw someone on TikTok put their tumblers in the airfryer to sublimate them - I would LOVE to see you try that if you happen to have an air fryer! I just wanna know if it woooorks 😂😂
Re your thank you card oopsie ☺️ For future reference, you can order Avery labels in various shapes & sizes & just pop them through your printer. So you don’t need a cutting machine & less waste as it uses the whole A4 sheet 😊
I have watched some TH-cam and someone it tape on one side of the print that overlapped and than it don’t transfer trough the sublimation paper and than the seem is not dark 😊 hope it works
You could've just made stickers with your social media and stick them on the TY cards. Like...grab label sticker sheets and send them through your printer, done.
I think it would be easier if your social media mames were all the same. Some have 2 Is some have 2 As. Kinda confusing to remember what your name is. Was your name not available? Its a unique name. Just hard to remember if you spell it differently on all socials. Love your channel though! Good luck with getting more orders. ❤
I know ahah! I tried really hard for them all to be the same but they were all taken which was surprising! I had to deal with that I was given essentially 😂
@AbiNova aw that stinks! Well I still live your channel lol. I don't really use other social media but I was commenting because I think it could be confusing for others lol
you could make a small sticker to put your social media on the thank you cards. And you can match the colors.
I was going to suggest the same thing when I saw your comment.

You could have used clear sticker paper / or white…and then put them on the cards you got…

That’s a great suggestion. Also, thermal printer stickers are sold on Amazon for pretty cheap.

I was wondering where you got that tripod thingy you’re filming your reels on?!
Starting my small business as well. Do you only sell on Etsy or do you use other platforms as well?

Do you get a lot of ghosting? With mine I have tried so many ways of taping and still get ghosting with htvront. Any tips?
Do you use adobe illustrator or adobe photoshop!!?
