- Today I'm making new products at home to grow my small business! I am so excited to be sharing this vlog! I had so much fun and it was such a productive weekend! I got to test a new sublimation tumbler design and even try making tote bags for the first time! Not to mention all of the orders I got to pack! What an amazing weekend!

For doing tumblers leave one side with a bit of white on the edge and have that side on the outside and always always measure your tumblers ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊

I just realised I forgot to flip it in photoshop so that's why they're on the wrong side! 😭🤣 my bad! Thank you for letting me know!! It was still fun to test them out!
I use a pair of blunt tip tweezers to pick off the sublimation tape and it's working really well for me
I really like the tote bags - and the subtler designs are going to appeal to people like me who (as you said in the video) like that dash of nerdery without being really in your face "I love this thing". I like having slightly nerdy things at work, for example, but subtle, so that they're obvious if you're also in the fandom but not front and centre of my desk or look (e.g. I might have a lego mini-figure but not a full sized Funko-pop). The soot sprites are probably juuust my favourite because they're fun regardless of if you know the origin...

I am so so happy that things are finally being a success from the very first try with you! The frog design looks so adorable and the TOTE BAGS! wow!
the Coroks one( not sure how to pronounce) looks the best tbh, the red character makes the design look well put together. Also the Totoro one looks the best with grass, it adds more color to the design.
For the Soot spirit, maybe try putting the design at the bottom? not sure how it will look but I feel like it might be more visible.

One single soot sprite at the bottom of the bag in the corner! Maybe a tad bigger than the tote you did, but still keeping it super minimal

If you want the Munbyn printer to use the first label, close your printer first then feed the labels afterwards. I never waste the first labels.

How do you get away with selling Totoro items? Did you purchase a license? If so how much did it cost? Was it easy to obtains? Thanks x
Conventions just dont enforce copyright laws. Thats how all the vendors can offer copyrighted products. Theres been stories of various brand associates roaming conventions handing out cease and desist letters though, so its still very risky.
@@meraukelele Or she may have a license? I'd been interested in knowing how she obtained it if she did :)
She can do it at conventions, Etsy would be a problem though. I am concerned about her listing that soot sprite one... :(
@@caraleighb I contacted the convention to ask about rules and regulations of selling fanart at their events as well as speaking to other artists and watching videos to educate myself on selling fanart at conventions!
However I will never sell fanart outside of conventions, I won't even be selling them at market stalls they are CONVENTION designs only. When I said "putting the tumblers up on Etsy" I meant the froggy, pastel game and strawberry lemonade tumblers the soot one is only for conventions. Hope this helped. ☺
