    When this game came out in 1996, it was the best looking 2D Fighting Game ever made. It blew people away. Rumor has it the animators for Street Fighter 3 saw this game and set out to top it which they did unbelievablely.

    • @MarkerInTheSand
      @MarkerInTheSand 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I know you mean well, but it's not equal rights. Men are "allowed" to walk around with their bare chests almost anywhere. A lot of men don't feel ashamed or embarrassed to be seen without a shirt on. Especially true for fit guys, like most guys in the game are.
      When the game rips off the clothes of women, most of the time their bras are exposed. Bras aren't meant to be "seen" by the world at large; only by those she consents to show them to.
      For it to be equal rights, you'd need to have most of the guys end up in their boxers, with their butts almost "exposed", or something like that. Then it would be a similar situation of shame and embarrassment.

      And for sure they are not better than Chang, Choi and Chin. You just dislike them, and that's a completely different thing. I dont hate them but i honestly want a better rotation in the roster, and they could get out sometimes and give their slots to other chars.
      But absolutely not being removed from the series. You hate too much to get yourself to understand the chars and how they contribute to fgs with their gameplay ideas (especially Choi).

    The sad thing about this game is that all the newcomers (except Kasumi) will likely never be playable in a new game ever again. (aside from cameos in stages of the KOF series) They've permanently vanished. Such a sad and shameful excuse.

    AoF 3 looked absolutely amazing at the time - and still does today. But i always felt it suffered from having the weakest roster in the trilogy. Most of the new characters and their move-sets felt uninspired and bland compared to the first two games. That's not to say that it wasn't a fun game though.

      The worst decision ever was changing the roster that way. The first one wasnt incredible, but that doesnt make it right to get rid of everybody... Also it turned out they were mostly better than the newcomers.

      Snk deberia haber hecho un sistema mas parecido a AOF2. Los nuevos combos y golpes en el suelo (otg) fueron una buena innovacion, pero los "combos de juggle de Tekken" no fueron una buena idea.

    Lástima que el sistema de juego dañará la franquicia , ojalá hicieran un remake

    • @arandomguy7387
      @arandomguy7387 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      El problema de hacerle un remake es que habría que replantear la jugabilidad y corregir varias cosas. Principalmente los personajes, la mayoría de ellos no tienen ni la pisca de gracia que tenían los de las primeras 2 entregas (exepto por Kasumi y talvez Lenny). A nivel gráfico es muy bueno pero es pena que el juego sea la prematura muerte de la saga.

    • @charleyx55

      El problema es que la franquicia se quedó sin ideas, desde AOF2 que para mí es el mejor juego de la franquicia tanto en sistema de juego como en historia , lo dañaron muy feo , en el caso de fatal Fury está abierto garou con su saga

    • @arandomguy7387
      @arandomguy7387 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@charleyx55 Creo que tenés razón, sería muy difícil sacar un Art of Fighting 4 apegándose a la fórmula de las primeras 2 entregas ya que habria que cargar barras de energía, no habria sistema de combos y el combate es más pausado. La segunda entrega (sin dudas la mejor de la saga) no tuvo mucha innovación, ya con eso uno se da cuenta de que SNK tenía muchas ideas para seguir con esa formula, por eso en esta 3ra entrega quisieron venir con algo nuevo y no les salió bien la jugada.

      @@arandomguy7387 lo q no recuerda mucha gente es q SNK si intento un Art of fighting 4, pero en 3D y lo llamaron Buriki one...
      Era la epoca en la que SNK trataba de renovar sus franquicias, cambiando, entre otras cosas, a los protagonistas (K' en KOF, Rock en Fatal fury, Seishiro Kuki en Samurai shodown y Gai Tendo en Buriki one).

    • @milesr4609
      @milesr4609 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Es mas, Art of fighting siempre fue su saga mas experimental, el 1 fue el primer juego de lucha en incorporar "super moves" (incluso antes de Street fighter y Fatal fury) usar scaling para hacercar o alejar la camara, mostrar las heridas o la ropa rota, este usa rotoscoping para animar a los personajes y Buriki one fue el primer juego de pelea 3D de SNK.

    The animation is smooth as always and the sprite work is phenomenal, but is it just me or the pose of the animation itself looks a little stiff? Like noticeably for an SNK game? It doesn't feel all that exaggerated.
