It should be quite obvious but I put my heart and soul into this series, and we had quite the scare making this finale possible (See 38:15 for details). But this playthrough is one I will NEVER forget. This game was a genuine joy from beginning to end. We still have The Arrival DLC, which I just finished recording and have posted for Members and Patrons, I'm gonna miss this game. I'll save the mushy stuff for the end of the next video. I hope to see you all then. www.patreon.com/posts/arrival-mass-2-116008402
Glad you've been enjoying this series. It has SO MUCH replay value. Different decisions, difficulty levels, dialogue and romance choices, and most importantly...class styles that change the way you do combat. I've played all 3 games at least 5 times.
@@KingdomAce I follow a few let's players, but I usually don't watch entire catalogue, because there are simply games I am not interested in, but you are quickly got to the top of the list, mate. I really like the fact that you think about your game, piece things together, not rushing. I massively enjoyed your ME series so far, keep up the amazing job 🙂
Glad you got to see Miranda's parting shot to the Illusive Man (even if you had to replay the entire Suicide Mission to do it!) It rounds off her story arc so well. Seeing her resign from Cerberus after spending the entire game defending them, is so satisfying!
This was amazing! Congratulations on acing the Suicide Mission without casualties back-to-back! You did a top-notch job getting ready and choosing each squad for each task! Your gameplay and insight throughout this journey has been top-tier! And the way you engage with the game and with us in the comments has been an unforgettable experience, just like the first playthrough of these games was for us watching! And the fact you went the extra effort of playing again and doing all this editing to ensure the best experience for us viewers is beyond dedication! Honest to god, you might just have become my absolute favorite Let's Player on TH-cam, bumping BornlosersGaming to a close second place! Can't wait for the Arrival DLC and, of course, Mass Effect 3! I promise you, you're gonna love the story and more action focused gameplay! No tips that i can remember right now, other than that you'll love the Citadel DLC of ME 3 and would be best to do it after finishing all you wanted to do but before the mission that starts the endgame. Besides that, have fun! It's gonna be great!
Omg the Miranda frustration - YEEESSSSS! The amount of times I thought "not all inside thoughts need to be outside thoughts Miranda!" while playing was crazy! Congrats on beating ME2 and saving all your crew!
@@chiraakitteh4091 yeah agreed 💯. Honestly it was very well done and I appreciated the "past" and "future" captioning to completely take away any confusion from the mix. Was cool Ace was able to go through that experience multiple times that way, still have completely candid reactions, and still provide commentary with further context.
First of all, let me congratulate you on defeating the Reapers. I'm a long time fan of the series and have many play throughs. I must say that your insights have been spot on so far. In order to achieve the perfect ending certain decisions must be made correctly, and you are on the right path so far. Just get ready for ME 3. Your in for a hell of a ride!❤
If you enjoyed Tali's drones I'm going to be a minority and say to try out Engineer in ME3, I had a blast with it. You get attack and defense drones, plus mobile turrets. Drones can be set to flush out cover with elec shocks, flamethrowers, shoot missles, and even kamikaze.
Congrats on getting through, casualty-free. That is not an easy thing to accomplish without prior knowledge, and is a testament to a player who knows how to prepare, and knows his squadmates in and out. . If you, or anyone else is curious about the process for determining who dies in each section, it's all described here: -As a general rule, if a squadmate can die during a section, it will ALWAYS kill a non-loyal squadmate first. Then a loyal one. If a character is the "correct" choice for a specific section, they only will be correct, if they are loyal. The sole exception is Miranda, who somehow functions as a good leader, during the biotic section, even if she isn't loyal. -During the approach, a squadmate will die for each of the 3 ship upgrades you haven't gotten. If everyone is loyal, the characters who die will always be Jack, Kasumi and Thane. -One character can die in the vents. If you either pick the wrong leader (NOT Garrus, Miranda or Jakob) or the wrong techie (NOT Kasumi, Tali or Legion) then the vent specialist will die. -One party member will die if you pick the wrong biotic to hold up the shield (NOT Jack or Samara/Morinth) The dying squadmate is one of the two who is with you, not the biotic themselves. -The secondary team leader will also die, if you pick anyone other than Garrus, Miranda or Jakob. -The sooner you start the suicide mission after the abduction, the fewer crew members will die. If you go right away, no one will die. If you do at least one more mission, half the crew, including Kelly, ship-cook Gardner and Engineer Gabby will die. If you wait several missions literally everyone but Chakwas will die. -Any team member can safely escort the crew back to the ship, if they are loyal. (If not, the squadmate dies but completes the mission) If you don't escort the crew, all survivors die. -The squadmates who are left behind are calculated on their average "strength". The stronger (and more loyal) the remaining soldiers are, the fewer will die. Grunt, Zaeed and Garrus are the most helpful and drag the average score up, helping in preventing casualties. Kasumi, Jack, Tali and Mordin are weak, and need protection. It's possible to lose squadmates here, if you've done something like sending Grunt back with the crew survivors, and brought Garrus into the final confrontation, since it drags the average score down. Even if everyone is loyal. -In the final fight with the reaper everyone loyal will survive, and the unloyal will automatically die. -This is the most interesting part: If there is 1 or fewer surviving squadmates left at this point, Shepard will actually DIE, and your save is invalid for ME3. You complete the mission, but the galaxy is still kinda screwed, as Shepard is permanently dead. . So for instance, a bad ending: Zaeed is killed during his loyalty mission, Jack, Kasumi and Thane die during the approach, Jakob dies in the vents, Grunt is abducted by seekers during the biotic section, Samara dies leading the second squad, nobody escorts the crew back so they die, Legion, Tali and Mordin all die holding the line, Miranda and Garrus die in the end because of missing loyalty, Shepard falls to his death during the endrun. Voila! The perfect screwup! Literally everyone but Joker and EDI are dead. There are so many variations to ME2's Final Mission, and it's so freaking cool. . Congrats on bringing the full roster into ME3, though. Makes that game even better than it already is, when you can encounter all of your ME2 homies.
1:12:34 sometimes I feel like this guy already has played or seen the game before, because that level of thinking and actually carefully diving into the games clues is unbelievable. Youre really smart man its like every time you think of possible outcomes of the game iyoure like 95% correct
First, fantastic work with your decision making you picked the best possible options to keep your team alive and im with you with the thinking things through in the heat of the moment. Great job. Second, if your teammates were not loyal i believe they would have left before the suicide mission not 100% on that. Lol
I never comment on videos, but I really have to say this, I really appreciate the thoroughness and actually taking your time to experience everything the game had to offer or at least most of it. It's a huge game series with a lot of content that can be exhausting to go through but as a huge fan of the series it warms my heart seeing you actually care about the characters and story. The 3rd one only getts better, cant wait to watch it!
That's some great work you did on the editing there you saved the best things ie your first time reactions to things always sucks if such important parts get scrambled but you did a great job thank you for the effort and for playing ME2.
Dk if you noticed this in the ending, but the cutscene with the illusive man post mission has the Star behind him in a different color. Usually it's like this interesting hue of different colors, but depending on your choice on the base, the star behind the illusive man will appear a different color to reflect a renegade or paragon decision on the base, you got the blue star referencing paragon for destroying it, a red star would appear if you spared the base
always feel sorry for the collector in the end, the reaper controlled him and then just leaves and when he is back in control he just see that the ship is about to explode.....
This is my inner space nerd kicking in, but I need to specify something. Spoilers below for anyone who hasn't watched this or played ME2 to completion yet! 1:58:42 That's not just any blackhole, that is one of the biggest black holes. Its the supermassive singularity, Sagittarius A, that resides at the dead center of the Milky Way. That monstrosity is what holds an entire galaxy together through its sheer gravitational pull alone. The fact that the Collector Base could exist near its accretion disk at all, which reaches temperatures in excess of 10^5 Kelvin and is bombarded by some of the most lethal radiation in the known universe, is absolutely wild. These are the kinds of forces Shepard and company were up against.
So happy to see someone else enjoy the series as much as I did! Truly the best game series out there! Can’t wait to see you play Mass Effect 3! (My favorite in the series) Also the Suicide mission is top 3 levels in gaming history
I implore you (no spoilers); when you play Mass Effect 3, do 'Priority: Eden Prime' ASAP early in the game when you can. You will see why :) Enjoy your playthroughs mate!! Also some trivia if you like Cowboy Bebop English dub, Grunt is Steve Blum; Aka Spike Spiegel's VO on the English dub. Dude has range!
LEEETTTSSS GOOOOO!!! now, because you've already finished this let me just clarify one thing. People who said that after getting Reaper IFF, you can do only few misions were refering to the start of this episode. You are forced into this mission, but after that, you can still go and finish all your stuff. Until you physically use the red relay near Omega, there is no "point of no return" but delaying for long after this mission may have some minor consequence
The Widow is just a heavy weapon that can only be used by the player if they have snipers already like infiltrator and solider the other weapons have that too like the Claymore
Watching you play has been a blast. Can't wait for ME3. It's a shame you had to put in so much work due to recording issues, but I really appreciate the effort you put into fixing the viewer experience. You did some great editing.
Just so you know - Vanguard class in ME3 is even more fun to use than it was before. You can not only teleport to your enemy, you can also chain it with a powerful ground slam attack. Everyone always recommends that class for ME3.
@@mateuszprzybya4352 The thing is a lot of abilities from other classes, u can still get those from your companions. But Vanguard charge is something you can only do on ur own.
Dude, I'm here having ridiculous goosebumps. The game's dialogue, excellent music and your booming beautiful voice together made this another great re-experience of the game. I have played these games dozens of times over and still the goosebumps just keep coming. I hope I'll never lose that feeling. Your edits with past and future versions were done excellently. I just pray you don't have to experience any of those sound problems or some other problems with ME3 😁❤️
This was time when Bioware was at their best. I really don't want to spoil Ace's funtime, but sometimes I am kinda worried he may be dissapointed in some more modern games after discovering the timeless classics. I mean I preordered two games in my entire life, and they were Andromeda and Cyberpunk 2077...those who knows probably share my pain 😀
Goat. This is probably one of my top favorite final mission in a game ever it gets my hyped everytime! And I would definitely love to watch your reaction to see the bad ending where absolutely everyone dies. Edit: also I believe they lowered the nudity in the romance scenes for certain romances because of the backlash on FOX news BioWare got for the romance scene with Liara back in ME1 when the game was first dropped.
Not sure if anyone mentioned this already, but before you play ME3, there is an animated movie called Mass effect : Paragon Lost, that you should watch. It is set around the same timeline as ME 2 ending, which ties up with ME3.
1:00:49 i thought the same thing through my first time. Since it was kinda of set up for that aspect. I was expecting to see a "character exhaustion level" The game has the perfect set up for it.
@KingdomAce I hope you don't take this negatively, but I do worry you're allowing yourself to be too concerned with liking or hating specific characters, the plot, or a game in general. Happens on a lot of channels and wanting to keep viewers is obviously important. However, I hope you know that the silent majority is here to see your actual, unfiltered, uncensored reactions to games we all love. Let it all be candid and organic as much as you can. I think I liked Miranda a little more than you (she's not my favorite, but I appreciate her a lot), but I don't think the devs wanted us to love everyone. Getting angry at a squadmate makes us think more critically about everything, and consider there might be other perspectives. All that said, I'm pretty new here, and your take on everything has been great and unique in your own right. Really look forward to the obvious finale to this trilogy and what you'll be doing afterwards! It's not common that our Venn diagram of ME and Trails fandoms actually overlap! And now back to finishing up this episode, well done man!
I think you are correct. Many people (me included) are sometimes guilty of backseat gaming, because we want Ace to see our favorite parts and outcomes. But the reason why I watch mostly blind let's plays is to see the genuine reaction. I usually don't have time to watch streams because my work and because many people I follow are in different timezone, but as for myself I don't mind prolonged videos, exploration even reloads or deaths. I understand that some people may find it annoying and may quit, but you will never be able to please everyone, so @KingdomAce you should play the way you enjoy it
the "bug" your buddy was referring to is just that cutscene where your crew gets taken by the collectors. If you go and do anything else besides the suicide mission after that those crewmates die.
I played mass effect 1 and 2 years ago. I tried 3 but I couldn’t get into it as much as 2. M.e.2 to this day is my favorite game out of the series it’s cool to see u playing another new age classic.
mann even tho it got messed up u still did your best and we love you for doing the best you can jordan, its ashame but you totally pulled it off edit: man im on the edge of my seat when ur picking these characters cause picking the wrong one might kill someone u love or not another edit: man that ending still gives me chills, when u see reapers coming in, I wonder how you'll react to the opening of mass effect 3 it's a banger trust me, perfect opening
If you haven't already started ME3 I'd suggest spending some extra time in the character creator to adjust Shep's face. Bioware overhauled the way faces work, so they don't neccessarily transfer so well between the games.
I admit, Kotor gameplay is dated, but wow, it pretty much is star wars mass effect. definately has the DNA of mass effect in it. It's dam good. considering it's age.
I think your friends were #¤%#% with you lol beside the conrad verner bug(which will carry on to ME 3 if not fixed in ME2 save), I do not remember any endgame problem? I got the physical copy on day one and had done one, perhaps two full playthroughs with not any bugs I remember, maybe a crash now and then. Maybe this bug they talk about is only in the legendary edition?? As I only started playing legendary edition later as it is so much easier
3:30 yeah it is weird but what ever I guess, but hey, its Joking time! time to play as the Disabled guy XD. The Joker DLC. 7:11 "I enjoy the sight of humans on there knees" never gets old XD. Edi and Jokers Relationship is something to behold, you got no idea just yet. 26:18 lmao , a Robot doing the Robot. Also he is a Menace in video games (yes in lore Legion Plays video games).
Always surprises me how many people think Jack is the most powerful biotic when Samara is much more experienced. Jack is the most powerful human biotic but the Asari are more powerful than humans when it comes to biotics.
imo, ME3 brings back a few more rpg elements, especially concerning weapons. You still dont have to sift thru the amount of stuff as in ME1 howerver (altho I love sifting thru loot haha). Also, the combat as the series moves along just keep getting better, enough that I was totally addicted to ME3mp for thousands of hours. Unfortunately, multiplayer isnt available via MELE, but I think its still totally worth picking up the stand alone version of ME3 just to play mp, its quite fun, and you might actually consider it as a community activity. Matchmaking servers still work, and there is even a backup matchmaking system developed by someone when the EA system wasnt working.
This might be late but, the bug you had mentioned was not in the legendary ME2 I've played this game unmodded (as I do all games on my first plays) just to let ya know☺
Stumbled onto your mass effect LP a while ago and if you really love heavy narrative games (even went back to watch your reaction to story cutscenes for WOW), you should consider trying Persona 5 Royal (ideally 3 and 4 too as well.). But I think P5 is the best to start with. Would LOVE to see how you enjoy that game, lots of JRPG elements for sure, I never was much of a JRPG fan myself, but the story is just chefs kiss level quality. I would 100% recommend it if you want another story game to sink into as well. Would 100000% watch it.
It leans heavily on your companions and the people you meet in the game and since you even say you enjoy the mushy/emotional moments too, I would really recommend it! That game is easily one of my top story RPG's of all time :). Game also has banger music, visuals and it just has TONS of polish. It's a treat for the eyes and ears. Great playthrough for your Mass Effect series and i'm excited for 3!
I've actually played every mainline Persona game P1-5Royal! By the end of it all, I did think 4 was the best. It's one of my favorite games of all time. The investigation team means the world to me. I also grew up with "whodunnit" style books so it was right up my alley. P3 has one of my favorite endings in fiction, and P5, specifically Royal, has one of my favorite new age antagonists. He was so relatable, and his situation was so heartbreaking, it almost had me rooting for him!
@@KingdomAce Oh that's awesome, glad you managed to play those games. Yea I had recently gotten into them myself and 3 and 5 have really made an impact on me absolutely. Phenomenal games.
Gotta say, Ace, if you love strings on a soundtrack (as do I), then I can't wait until you one day get to Dragon Age: Inquisition. The composer for that game, Trevor Morris, can make strings practically cry, and there is a heavy use of cello and violin. One of my favorite soundtracks in any game.
1:55:32 Nice, either the devs patched it or the mod patch you installed fixed an issue here. For whatever reason, in the Legendary edition, below where grunt is hanging, where the reaper is, there is just a massive black sphere, rather than being able to see the reaper. In the Original release it wasn't like that, and in many Legendary Edition playthroughs I've seen it was black like that, glad it wasn't broken for you. Another one that is seemingly fixed is at the end when you're talking to the Illusive man, for some reason in the Legendary Edition, there are lighting issues and for most of the cutscene it looks very very dark, and then near the end, the light fixes itself and turns bright again. Glad that's fixed too.
This is neat to find out! I've actually been playing ME1, 2 and now 3 all with the Community Fix Patch on PC, and it has tons of bug fixes in it. So that's likely why it didn't happen for me.
Ah man. You got ready to start another play thru😂. Lost count of how many. Probably close to my 15th at this point idk. I still find new stuff tho, even now
@@KingdomAce people were right to reccomand doing it last, because it really does cannonicaly fit AFTER main story, especially when you consider the fact that when people got their hands on this DLC for the first time, they usualy had one or more playthoughs finished already, as it was released more than a year after main game
28:15 to be fair, it was Genocide, but only against the Spliter Group, who could of go back to the rest of the Geth. 30:55 well the Quairans did start it after all. but you may change your opinion once you get more information to judge for yourself. 1:58:01 well those are called a collecter general, too bad you only see one of them. 1:59:05 btw the sun in the background would be a different color, based off of what your Paragon/renegade levels are at. 2:07:10 eh not really, its somewhat better, not worse, honestly I wouldn't worry about it. Mass Effect 3 is one of the two Mass effect games with the most Content (the other being Andromeda), but ME3 does introduce some new elements, even if some people don't like it.
Aw man. I would highly recommend watching variations of the suicide mission. The worst ending is just pure pain! I love that Shepherd can die there and get cloned into ME3. I would love to see a stream where we can tell you all the bad stuff and alternate possibilities. Unless you wanna do a replay later of course.
I didn't. The game audio you hear was from me replaying the entire mission. I just overlayed and synched up the cutscene audio with the original. I matched the frequencies to time it right. The combat segments however, are straight up replayed. It's impossible to resync gunfire and stuff in a game. Though if something exciting happened during combat, my reaction is there. This way all of my original reactions to everything is still there for the most part. During the video past around 38min. You'll see on my webcam if it's from the original recording or the new. Not that I think it matters in the final product.
@KingdomAce Final was able to watch it. Great job salvaging a bad situation. Best of luck with ME3, looking forward to it. Double check that your shepard looks good at the starting screen when importing. I notice that mine are sometimes slightly off and just require a bit of fine tuning. The ethical line between paragon and renegade interupts are not quite as clear next time around, and I find they both simply amount to "do something". Have fun.
Thank you for sharing your playthrough with us 🥹 looking forward to me3!! Also on my first playthrough I resonated like you when it came to rewriting or destroying the geth
I always gave the base. At the end of the day, it’s Reapers vs everyone. I hated illusive man and Cerberus but extra data about reapers, how they are constructed, their possible weaknesses, that information is INVALUABLE. He was kinda speaking facts about how it could save millions of lives. At least that was my reasoning.
I play this game with combat being secondary to the storyline, as do you it appears...but you might wanna step up the difficulty level in ME3. You walked through this too easily IMO
Alright, that's it! Can we talk about this game's main story a bit? First of all, Harbinger's long term plan with the Collectors doesn't make sense at all. They would've not be able to finish that Human Reaper by themselves. There's simply not enough "raw material" available for them. And the main reason for this is Collectors kinda suск in their actual military capabilities. They only have one hidden space station, couple of spiketurd-class cruisers and a handful of ground troops. They were able to abduct as many humans as they did ONLY because of surprise factor and defensless targets. The moment they faced some resistance on Horizon, they had to yeet out and it was basically game over. That's why I always LOL at sqadmate #2 line "They are going to attack Earth" when they see countless pods on the Collector ship. Bruh, what? They would've get blown into dust by Alliance NAVY the moment they drop out of Charon relay. So this game's main conflict provides zero progress on the whole trilogy's conflict. Just edit the last cutscene of ME1 to Reapers armada menacingly approaching Milky Way and you'll lose NOTHING in global scale of things. ME2 is as fillery as the second part of the trilogy could get. I'll talk about this game "expanding the ME universe" in a separate comment.
The rant continues! Now about рiss-poor job this game does in terms of world-building. Despite Shepard operating in a completely new area - an underworld of the Galaxy of some sort - the Milky Way looks much smaller compared to the first game. Even though you have 3 hub locations(I don't count Tuchanka as hub location, come on guys) instead of 1, the amount of content per square meter stuffed into these locations makes Milky Way to look like your neighbourhood where you always bump into someone you know wherever you go. And the pinnacle of this is Nos Astra. When you arrive there, you meet: - Agent of the Rachni with message to Shepard - Gianna Parasini - Liara - Shiala - Konrad Verner - An angry racist Asari grandma, two daughters of whom you've met in the first game And they all aren't further than fifty footsteps from each other. Seriously, Bioware? This is supposed to look cool? Well, maybe it is for the target audience who zealously adore this game, but this looks laughably bad for perception of the world. The only real and good world building in this game comes from three characters in your team - Mordin, Tali and Legion (the latter two provide more lore on different sides of one conflict). But don't get too excited about Legion! Somehow it was a genius decision to introduce legion in the last mission before the final showdown; and if that wasn't enough, by even more genius decision you would've forced into that absolute cringe of "every single sqadmate leaves the ship so here comes surprise Collector attack" sequence if you open galaxy map before you BOTH activate Legion and get hos loyalty mission. Seriously, Bioware??? [2] And even if you do everything correctly, you might not have enough side missions left to exhaust all Legion dialogues(he has 4 of them) which to me are the most interesting dialogues in the entire game on par with Mordin's genophage revelations.
If your LI is Tali, fine. For me, she is a kid sister too much where I cannot. Why? In some weird way too similar, umm GEEKS, even ME! For MaleShep LI, Ash, Liara, Miranda, and the latest was Jack, like within this year for the latest, Not telling you LI, but for me Miranda, and that list with ME2, even ME1, why multiple playthroughs for you, not me but Tali, never, for my reason and then-- hold my tongue. I back up those who can shield themselves, including me, I am already outdated you are in ME3... keep the focus, hope you have mod to prevent spoilers as this game is super sensitive. Me, other than some wikia or fandom, it took me few times to figure it myself, for me LI. Catching up late but here we go Suicide mission... Good luck to you, I cannot remember if you are in ME3, sorry watching others as well too much blend, I have faith in you here and your decisions... if it's against mine shut-up until I sense a conflict. Nevermind, let's go, complete the mission. *hoping I did not comment here previously, watching you and others, thus confused., no offense, but I know you love the game equally... I am at the landing spot after the Omega-4 relay, thus shut-up and not tell you this and that, even ME3 and for me shut-up others it's your game. Otherwise, play your own game, meaning others. Other than power combos matter in ME3 and ME2 try to teach you with ammo power, utilize at every mission. I am at your team onto THAT base, I have faith in you. Good luck and Godspeed, unless you really pissed me off, lol.
No offense, but how was your heart functioning reacting the ultimate on base and rescuing your crew and then after info from EDI. You are a Gentle Giant, I am smaller physically, yet dude, bros we think alike. If disagree, we can agree to disagree... going into basically half way through in your into THERE. On your end, too much to process? Hehe... what sucks my first time here is too foggy anymore, but I have old saves from the old games. Still doing well.
Just hope is aligned with Jack on this part with Grunt/Tali... a day or two late after he produced, forgot if Jack is with him or not. Ace, I believe in you, just current event disappointed me, you are doing fine... I hope
TBH for the final, I am glad for my BroShep, dude you nailed it, as for the other weird way of saying, if Shep produced a child, adopted, yep.... kick serious ass and you are 100% fine afterwards. Onto ME3, let the fun begin... how's health through all of it so far? Just how that part works, just grab your boots and here comes the true meaning of rollercoaster...for me and others (ME3 is imperfect) but why ME is special of all-time of VG, for me just 1 and why no interest XSX, PS5, you get it why I am stuck where you are at and other games close to me.... right now breathe, I know you enjoy, but BREATHE... crap better than me my first, unsubscibed middle finger, kidding, I am with you ME3 best I can, damn RL, but enjoyed this ride. Not now ME3. It's why ME is definitely one of the best games to play, and for you what Witcher, TES, and FO.... you are a bro in VG and just finish it. Hope in RL you are doing well and thank you for your experience in games I most enjoyed and kick some serious ass, my next game RDR2. Those who followed, have played it but stayed away from watching, but the games you've played recently that is at least 5 years of it. Talk about a stuck loop, you played it, other than FNV:OWB, those brainiacs are stuck, yet I'm stuck. One of the few requests, okay only 1, RDR2, got the game too stuck the games you within a year, I'm basically, roughly 2017 (played Skyrim since 11/11/11, FO4 I wanna say 11/15/15, original MET, wanna say 2013 or 2014... you are a bro... keep in good health and into ME3, unless strong opinion, you'll be fine, but need self-shielding a bit, but follow your soul and that you'll do fine. At the end, a simple thumbs up and Godspeed Commander AceKingdom, proud of you here! *You said it, do try out Andromeda. Nowhere as good to ME you played, but MEA is still very fun, just lack dialogue. Combat AWESOME.
It should be quite obvious but I put my heart and soul into this series, and we had quite the scare making this finale possible (See 38:15 for details). But this playthrough is one I will NEVER forget. This game was a genuine joy from beginning to end. Now for fun if you want you can react to the bad ending to this game
Ironically more funny than tragic
@YoungMrBlue it will be up tomorrow!
Glad you've been enjoying this series. It has SO MUCH replay value. Different decisions, difficulty levels, dialogue and romance choices, and most importantly...class styles that change the way you do combat. I've played all 3 games at least 5 times.

It was fun watching Mass Effect 2 with you! 👍
It will be up this week! I hope you'll join me for Me3 as well! 🙏🏽

OMG Ive never seen Legion doing the robot before, thats so awesome! :D
Wow we are actually here
Long time coming 🥹
Congrats on beating ME2 and saving all your crew!
thanks so much! and yesssss I had to hold in the frustration at times because MAN it was grating at times!
BTW, editing over the sound glich was fine, and not confusing at all. 👌
That's a relief, thanks. I hope the tags for which was Future and Past me helped streamline things too.
@@KingdomAcecan say the same, you did a great job 👍
First of all, let me congratulate you on defeating the Reapers. I'm a long time fan of the series and have many play throughs. I must say that your insights have been spot on so far. In order to achieve the perfect ending certain decisions must be made correctly, and you are on the right path so far. Just get ready for ME 3. Your in for a hell of a ride!❤
He didn’t defeat the reapers he defeated the collectors
If you enjoyed Tali's drones I'm going to be a minority and say to try out Engineer in ME3, I had a blast with it. You get attack and defense drones, plus mobile turrets. Drones can be set to flush out cover with elec shocks, flamethrowers, shoot missles, and even kamikaze.
Congrats on getting through, casualty-free. That is not an easy thing to accomplish without prior knowledge, and is a testament to a player who knows how to prepare, and knows his squadmates in and out.
.
If you, or anyone else is curious about the process for determining who dies in each section, it's all described here:
-As a general rule, if a squadmate can die during a section, it will ALWAYS kill a non-loyal squadmate first.
Holy shit, great job on editing the video and audio together and thank you for the effort :D Sorry that that happened but it works really good!
I love watching people play such an amazing game😪ur gonna love me3
1:12:34 sometimes I feel like this guy already has played or seen the game before, because that level of thinking and actually carefully diving into the games clues is unbelievable.
Dudeeeee that's so freakin cool!
You did great! ❤
Thank you!!
Congratulations Commander on surviving the suicide mission
Congrats ace! I love your playthrough. I agree with you at 1:59:05 the illusive man's theme is one of my favorites of the whole trilogy soundtrack.
Congrats on beating the main story and enjoying your playthrough. Great job on not loosing anyone 💪💪
always feel sorry for the collector in the end, the reaper controlled him and then just leaves and when he is back in control he just see that the ship is about to explode.....
(My favorite in the series)
Also the Suicide mission is top 3 levels in gaming history
Great series, and had a great time watching it. Your my favorite TH-camr playing one of my favorite game trilogy's! goat!
If you think this is awsome wait until we go back to Eden Prime in the next game!
“All survivors are on board” yeah that sounds like a riddle
The Widow is just a heavy weapon that can only be used by the player if they have snipers already like infiltrator and solider the other weapons have that too like the Claymore
Watching you play has been a blast. Can't wait for ME3. It's a shame you had to put in so much work due to recording issues, but I really appreciate the effort you put into fixing the viewer experience. You did some great editing.
You all enjoying it so much made every single minute worth it, thanks so much for watching! 🙏🏾❤️
Just so you know - Vanguard class in ME3 is even more fun to use than it was before. You can not only teleport to your enemy, you can also chain it with a powerful ground slam attack.
Everyone always recommends that class for ME3.
i prefer engineer or solider but we see probably how good it id ON Ace videos?
@@mateuszprzybya4352 The thing is a lot of abilities from other classes, u can still get those from your companions. But Vanguard charge is something you can only do on ur own.
Dude, I'm here having ridiculous goosebumps. The game's dialogue, excellent music and your booming beautiful voice together made this another great re-experience of the game. I have played these games dozens of times over and still the goosebumps just keep coming. I hope I'll never lose that feeling.
Your edits with past and future versions were done excellently. I just pray you don't have to experience any of those sound problems or some other problems with ME3 😁❤️
thanks for the kind words ❤️🙏🏽, i just recorded the arrival dlc and it came out fine thankfully! 😭🔥
@KingdomAce Wonderful 😁👍
You are making me want to replay this. :)
Do it!!
Not sure if anyone mentioned this already, but before you play ME3, there is an animated movie called Mass effect : Paragon Lost, that you should watch. It is set around the same timeline as ME 2 ending, which ties up with ME3.
Game 3 in the wings, LETS GO!
1:00:49 i thought the same thing through my first time. Since it was kinda of set up for that aspect. I was expecting to see a "character exhaustion level"
The game has the perfect set up for it.
I understand that some people may find it annoying and may quit, but you will never be able to please everyone, so @KingdomAce you should play the way you enjoy it
1:58 this one who get killed is Collectors general no Harbinger.
the "bug" your buddy was referring to is just that cutscene where your crew gets taken by the collectors. If you go and do anything else besides the suicide mission after that those crewmates die.
1:55:30
you can just hold a 700lbs krogan. shep is a beast
What a ride
I played mass effect 1 and 2 years ago. I tried 3 but I couldn’t get into it as much as 2.
M.e.2 to this day is my favorite game out of the series it’s cool to see u playing another new age classic.
mann even tho it got messed up u still did your best and we love you for doing the best you can jordan, its ashame but you totally pulled it off
edit: man im on the edge of my seat when ur picking these characters cause picking the wrong one might kill someone u love or not
another edit: man that ending still gives me chills, when u see reapers coming in, I wonder how you'll react to the opening of mass effect 3 it's a banger trust me, perfect opening
Your instincts are uncanny af
If you haven't already started ME3 I'd suggest spending some extra time in the character creator to adjust Shep's face. Bioware overhauled the way faces work, so they don't neccessarily transfer so well between the games.
This is a great tip, thanks a ton for this. I'll keep this in mind!
Mass Effect 2 is my second favorite bioware game. First is Dragon age origins.
i need DA:O in my veins!
Can't for for u to see ME3, when it comes to gameplay the jump in quality was even bigger than from ME1 to ME2
GOAT
When replaying, do Tali loyalty mission with Legion, right after you get him and then do the legion loyalty with tali and then do the final
I admit, Kotor gameplay is dated, but wow, it pretty much is star wars mass effect. definately has the DNA of mass effect in it. It's dam good. considering it's age.
@@ascissordollynamedgwen9409 pretty much every bioware game before mass effect has that "me dna". Even overlooked and forgotten "jade dynasty" has it.
I think your friends were #¤%#% with you lol
beside the conrad verner bug(which will carry on to ME 3 if not fixed in ME2 save), I do not remember any endgame problem? I got the physical copy on day one and had done one, perhaps two full playthroughs with not any bugs I remember, maybe a crash now and then. Maybe this bug they talk about is only in the legendary edition?? As I only started playing legendary edition later as it is so much easier
Let's go!!!
Goat
Let’s go 🎉
2:25:55 That's indeed the shower, Shepard is shown using it in the Garrus romance. :)
Totally agree with you. In fact, when I watch the Lord of the Rings movies I always skip The Two Towers because it's just side missions.
Always surprises me how many people think Jack is the most powerful biotic when Samara is much more experienced. Jack is the most powerful human biotic but the Asari are more powerful than humans when it comes to biotics.
I hope you play mass effect 3 or dragon age veilguard 😊
That's the plan, I will do both!
imo, ME3 brings back a few more rpg elements, especially concerning weapons.
Matchmaking servers still work, and there is even a backup matchmaking system developed by someone when the EA system wasnt working.
lol I used the nuclear single shot heavy weapon.
One shot the reaper
Oh man, you have NO idea what you've just setup in my brain LOOOL I cannot wait for those games even more now 😭🙏🏽
1:59:40
have you played Journey? i'll admit, i got emotional. the music was perfect in it
1:55:32 Nice, either the devs patched it or the mod patch you installed fixed an issue here.
1:36:30 well that was indeed an unintentionally funny edit
2:02:08 The Father of them all!!
Ah man. You got ready to start another play thru😂. Lost count of how many. Probably close to my 15th at this point idk. I still find new stuff tho, even now
Arriwal dlc will be doing?-this is ME3 prelude but i understand if you wanna go in ME3 as soon as possible.
Just finished recording the Arrival dlc right now. Members and patrons will get it today, very soon!
@@KingdomAce thx so iwish you good luck on ME3):
How did you fix the audio?
When you arrive there, you meet:
- Agent of the Rachni with message to Shepard
- Gianna Parasini
- Liara
- Shiala
- Konrad Verner
- An angry racist Asari grandma, two daughters of whom you've met in the first game
And they all aren't further than fifty footsteps from each other.
And even if you do everything correctly, you might not have enough side missions left to exhaust all Legion dialogues(he has 4 of them) which to me are the most interesting dialogues in the entire game on par with Mordin's genophage revelations.
If your LI is Tali, fine. For me, she is a kid sister too much where I cannot. Why? In some weird way too similar, umm GEEKS, even ME!
For MaleShep LI, Ash, Liara, Miranda, and the latest was Jack, like within this year for the latest,
Not telling you LI, but for me Miranda, and that list with ME2, even ME1, why multiple playthroughs for you, not me but Tali, never, for my reason and then-- hold my tongue.
