- Moon Studios recently posted stats about what players have been up to in the first month since No Rest For the Wicked released to Early Access, noting that only 30,000 players have managed to complete the Cruicible. I definitely was one such player that struggled with this part of the game, so to help anyone else out here, I'm going to illustrate everything you need to know about the crucible. While mainlining a bow and blade, I'll review weapons and armor you'll need to succeed, explain what specific attributes do and what you should look out for, cover all 8 possible crucible rooms, and what to anticipate when it comes to the final fight with Echo Knight.
The background music is from Felvidek.

Excellent video, great walkthrough of the Crucible. Also I have only defeated the Echo Knight twice, both times using the same bow centered around the cone shot rune. High Amour is definitely recommended for your average players in the crucible. Good luck!
That head cam is fucking magically epic!!! I love it! Nice clear guide subbed.
Thanks man! I'm really trying to go the extra mile when it comes to custom animations and creating clever ways to use my webcam & green screen compared to other creators. Good to know I'm on the right track!
I've probably run the crucible a solid 75 times at this point. I've only beaten Echo Knight ONE time. I was 1 hit away from killing him another. Aside from that, he's kicked my ass every other time. Its crazy how hard he is when you're running an old school strength build with a little focus regen on the side. This is coming from someone who used to toy with Sword Saint Isshin and do no-hit Sekiro runs for fun. They really know how to ramp up the difficulty when they want to good lord.
I feel ya on that subject. I complete the rest of the crucible with relative ease, then there is a big difficulty jump for the echo knight. But I’ll keep trying!
Great voice, an actual guide to cruciblea finally! Now that ive killed him i found you lol subscribed either way
Ha go figure, thanks for watching regardless!
Very nice video bud. Almost a copy of how I did it and the birch tree and the fact that you said he is difficult I really respected. Nice Video ; ]
Haha yeah, Echo Knight is the most difficult opponent in the entire game by a wide margin. That fight really forces you into some form of a focus regeneration build as it becomes a DPS test, similar to the Four Kings in Dark Souls
I play mage, and i kill almost everything in just a single fireball.
Some bosses might require two to three, Echo Knight is the exception, he has a massive health pool. plus he kill me is two hits, even though i wear only cloth and leather armor.
So far i have focus regeneration on three armor pierces and the lightning gem which also gives focus reg.
Makes the game stupid easy.
Took me like 20 attempts to finally beat and now have no problem doing it, just a skill and luck base
How does cone shot give you health back??
There's a gem on my bow that does 7% Health on Kill, and then the random attribute on my sword of Gain 1% Health of Damage Dealt is also being applied per bow shot. It appears that any such attributes on either weapon are both applied per hit, regardless of which weapon does the damage
