    Make sure to change the map to track mode with ABS on in Rider mode. Whole different bike than Road mode!

    This exact bike and displacement would be just perfect for me in a city setting… I may be spoiled with the large fuel tanks and the open roads here in Arizona… Now we can filter and still remember how to do it safely but yes I’ll stick to the open roads. Great bike nonetheless sounds good has great power and keeps you happy and that my friend is the bottom line…

    Nice little update my fellow Cosmic Brother! 😉😎💛
    Yeah, I know what you mean, we sound very similar, I get bored with bikes quite easy, but so far, really pleased with mine. Done a few things to it now, to get how I want. 2 track days in and just shy of 2k miles, it's all good.
    Have mine tuned now with a rapidbike evo module, so with the quieter exhaust on its 127bhp at the wheel. With the noisy Akrapovic it's basically at 130bhp at the wheel, it's made a big difference and revs out so easy and quickly!
    You mention the screen/dash , yeah it's not so great, but not a deal breaker for me either and way better than the new Gsxs1000 screen (yet another suzuki I considered). An update to the 1200RS screen or option to do so from triumph would be good.
    I really think this 765RS is more like a comfy Gsxr 750! With a touch less top end that you can't really use on the street anyway! And few tracks, depending on the straights they have.
    I too have had a squeaky rear brake, but think it's just dirt on the disc or lack of use as it goes away when it's warmer.
    To change, I'd maybe now consider the 1200RS Again, but it's 11kg heavier and now that mine is tuned, doubt there would be THAT much in it performance wise (realistically). plus I've ditched another 7KG or 22Lb from changing the Exhaust.
    The 1200RR would be a serious consideration but exactly as you said, more power is nice, but you don't need it and it's no faster on the street / Road in the real world! The 765, is just so much damn fun to ride!
    Keep the videos coming, its great to hear from other similar owners!

    • @Yo-Ken
      @Yo-Ken  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did not know there was a tune available. DNK Tune said it was encrypted, and there are still working on it. The 1200 screen is so much better, but I will deal with it. I know we don't need the power, but heck its nice to have. I don't do track days, save that for my race car, but I can see why the Triple is a great bike for the track. Thanks for the kind words. I will jump over and check your channel out.

      @@Yo-Ken yeah, rapidbike is self tuning but it's far from faultless. You can also now get a power commander for our 2023 / 2024 model too. I had mine custom tuned with the Rapidbike on the dyno. It's really good now. Actually felt totally fine beforehand but it's so much crisper and more responsive now.

    I got the squeeky brake issue too. I'm quite certain it is the rear brake on my bike. I just use the rear brake a bit stronger than I would usually do a couple of times, and it seems to solve it for a while. I suspect the combination of the combined brakes and being a bit lazy only using the front brake when riding slow is may be the cause.

    Bike seems to be holding up great and you've done all the tasteful mods!
    I keep my display in dark mode all the time now with the RPM large like you have it, but in yellow text. Stands out really well.
    I installed the '22 Triumph headers and a RaceFit exhaust. It sounds amazing, the crackle and pop on decel is out of this world but it's sooo loud, I'm just not that guy (haha). How do you have your exhaust mounted? Looks like you lost the Yoshi for a Leo.

    • @Yo-Ken
      @Yo-Ken  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I also have the text in yellow, but at certain times of the day its still hard to read the tach. I have pretty much got use to what the engine sounds like just before it hits the rev limiter, so I don't look at the tach much when shifting at the limit. RaceFit is a little to loud for me for everyday riding, but it does sound wicked. I had the Yoshi, and it sounded great, but at cruising speed it was to high pitch. The Leo has deeper tone that I much prefer. I use the 2019-23 exhaust bracket that mounts to the frame. I found it on ebay, but you get it from a Triump dealer.

    I'm with you 100% on the TFT, it's a big disappointment and IMO the basic dash on the R (also on the Tiger 660 and Trident) is a better option but overall I'm so pleased with the RS though the average 37 mpg is slightly less than I'd expected.

      I live Southeast of Raleigh, North Carolina. Lots of wooded area along with farmland. During the day the roads are quiet. The only thing that scares me is an animal running out of the woods into the road. Great videos. Looking to get a Triple in the next few months. Hoping if I wait another few months since it's so late I'll be able to get it cheaper. Oddly enough, it appears we have the same local dealership and you've mentioned a few times in different videos about the poor experience. Can you elaborate on it? Am I better off going to a dealership in Charlotte then Bakers? Was your bike in stock or did it need to be ordered?

    • @Yo-Ken
      @Yo-Ken  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can't recommend Bakers... total bs from the salesman. He was polite, but I could see right through him. He sounds like he is interested when making small talk, but when I asked about the transaction, he was vague and said I will get back to you. Little things were red flags.
      No dealing on price, he said we are not making much on this bike... that's bs. It's list price with assembly and freight. I have bought 6 bikes in the last 5 years, and all the dealers were willing to deal, but not Baker.
      I asked about the rear cowl, if I did not mention it was standard to have a rear seat and a cowl, he would have never given it to me.
      When you buy a Triumph, they give you a cool binder, t-shirt, backpack, and hat. I know this because I have bought 2 Triumph's from 2 different dealers without asking for them and got this stuff. I asked about it, but he had no idea what I was talking about.
      When I picked up the bike, it was not cleaned. They did not set bike up properly... service date was not right, and the TMPS warning light was always on. The bike does not have TMPS. Wires were just laying under the seat, not fastened like they should be.
      I could go on, but I would not buy a bike through that dealer again. I bought it because it was the only one in the area in yellow. Maybe they will treat you better, but just beware they don't go the extra miles to have customers come back. I'm thinking of getting the RR next year, but not from them.

      @@Yo-Ken I have a '13 GS and have been considering the new 1300, but frankly most of my riding is short 1-2 hours in the twisties and I wonder if something like the Street Triple might be more fun. How do you find the wind blast on the triple after coming from the GS? Also how is the shifting compared to the GS. I've always thought the boxer motors had clunky shifting.

    • @Yo-Ken
      @Yo-Ken  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@JoeS97756 Its funny your say that. I thought I would be taking long trips along with some trails with the GS. It just turned out that the 20,000 plus miles I put on the GS was short trips, with some 3 to 4 hour rides. I treated it like a sport bike. It was so good I kept it for 3 years, but it was time for a change. I wanted something faster and sportier. I bought a FZ1 and I knew that's my riding style. The FZ was stupid fast but it lack some options I wanted. I saw the Triple is Cosmic Yellow, and I wanted. Its almost as fast as the FZ. From 0 to a 100 it rips just as good the FZ... the FZ is just a beast after 100.
      As far as wind, its a naked bike... you feel everything The GS was very cold weather friendly with good protection so it really does not compare. As long as the temps are 60 and above i have no issues with the wind, but that's me. I know many riders don't like to deal with the wind. Shifting is butter smooth on the Triple... a joy. My GS hit hard from first to second, not as bad from second to third... the rest of the gears felt fine, but not even close to the Triple. Over all I think the Triple is a great bike, smooth fast, comfy, (not as comfy as the GS, but still a nice ride), handles and stops like no other bike I have rode. Its light and so easy to ride fast and stable on the highway... I don't think you will be disappointed. If you like to ride sporty, you love the Triple.
