Honestly I expected this game to be close. Washington always plays us really well at home and they definitely did this game. What an intense game for both fans! This was definitely a high powered offense game with little to no defense. Great game Commanders and great win Eagles!

They have not looked like the last year’s eagles and they played good this game but they played kinda sloppy the other 3 games. Yeah but look around the league. Everybody is 90% nowadays even on 50+ yarders. They have to move the goal posts in to make the field goal kick more of a dramatic play it's automatic nowadays everywhere

I thought Washington was going to break the Eagles’ undefeated streak for the second straight year. But that was not the case. Still a good game.
I have a feeling that if the Eagles are still undefeated when they play Washington again, that will be the end of their streak.
The Eagles have the Commanders again in 4 weeks, which will be week 8, the same point in the season that they lost their first game last year to the same Commanders.

If Sam Howell continues to play this well they certainly could....it's just that they're bound to be inconsistent.
They've added some good talent on both sides of the ball, but they still have some holes, especially their O-Line and at LB and the jury is still out of how good Sam Howell can or will be. At least Dan Snyder is gone, but that doesn't guarantee success for the future! Just think their odds are better without Snyder :-)

@@kyperactive The Commanders always play us well at home and were the only team who gave Jalen Hurts a loss in the regular season last year. Most divisional rival games are close and this was one of them. Eagles offense came to win and the defense is what really let them stay in this game

As a Commanders fan I'm disappointed and impressed. Sam really bounced back from the Bills game. That last touchdown shows his maturity. He's was poised and confident in his delivery. I'm not gonna bash on the defense they carried this team for 2 straight seasons but they need to get back that dominance again.

I’ve been raging when the Eagles may win, but the Commanders end up with a touchdown when the time expired. Although, the Philly still win in OT and I almost choked up!
When Washington got that touchdown toward the end, there was speculation that they might have tried a 2 point conversion instead of 1 extra point, to win without going into OT.
When Brown gets going, the eagles are tough to stop. I expect Goddert, and Smith to only make even more plays.

As an Eagles fan I expect division games to be close. (Even if one team is terrible, it's a division rival). Anyway, I don't miss the Commanders old name but I sure do miss there old uniforms. Why drop the real burgundy & yellow they had? Plus the all black is not good. I understand they can't be the R******s but why not look like them? Howell looks lime he may be the answer for them at qb. Just needs better o-line play in front of him. (Just judging from today & the Eagles d-line isn't an easy day for any o-line)

4th and 2 on the commanders last drive and this guy Darius slay is playing 10 yards deep and gives up a 5 yard out route.. when the hell will you guys learn??
Imagine how this game would have ended if that TD pass to AJ Brown falls incomplete. Suddenly it’s a must have 3rd and 4, the clock is stopped, and running on 3rd down doesn’t help you because Washington has two timeouts. You have to throw, again, for a 3rd consecutive play in field goal range inside two minutes. As impressive of a throw and catch as it was by Hurts and Brown, and it absolutely was a BIG TIME throw, you just can’t make a playcalling mistake like that against an elite team like the Chiefs or 49ers and expect to win. Someone needs to sit the Eagles OC down, grab him by the ears and shake the stupid out of him.
Y'all need to actually understand what's going on. Jalen called an audible and changed it, you can hear him yell solo, and that changed the play to the double move because Washington had no safety help.

Now that Miami has their first loss, that now leaves the Eagles and the Niners as the only two undefeated teams.they will be an even bigger challenge when the Eagles face them later down the road, not to mention Dallas, who clobbered New England, and Kansas City, who play the late late game tonight, who will more than likely win against their not so challenging opponent.

My point is that while the next two games are winnable for the Eagles, their schedule beyond that gets more challenging. Akso, their next opponent was down by two scores in their last game against the Colts, but came back to win.
