The Umarex Trevox out of the box Will hit a can or two. Its break-barrel style, with steady aim, Makes plinking easy and true. Its power sings with every shot, A plinker’s trusted friend. From backgarden fun to local range It hits where you intend.
Another excellent video! Picked mine up 5 months ago for $61 US. Terrible gritty trigger. Removed a spring on the trigger. Much better trigger. Over 1200 shots later it's still a fun gun to shoot and the trigger works much better. The moderator makes it neighborhood quiet. My favorite air pistol in 177.
Good morning, everybody and our Host ....ANDY .... whot a great review , great info .... IT`S freezing here in Yorkhire , my car`s white ice all over ! Brrrrr ... Take care Andy
Great review Andy, looks like a fun plinker. But wow, that thing is huge!! 😮 Kind of reminds me of my BSA Scorpion, quite a handful for sure. 😉 Have a great weekend! Pete 🇨🇦
Trevox, well I bought one in August. Really like the review, but I always head to your videos for a good look at air weapons before I commit to buy. Trevox is a superb pistol, accurate & punchy, a little heavy because I'm an old guy, but that's down to me. My eyesight ain't the the best but get good results with it. For the £110 it costs its a gem. Thanks for the review Andy.
Morning all from a frozen Belgium. Now, that's a beautyful pistol Andy. Looking for a break barrel pistol, but not decided on what yet. Let's find out! Have a fantastic weekend all!
Great video, as usual. One thing ive noticed is that frequently online websites refer to guns like this as being silenced. ( not referring to pelpax, obviously) Without reviews like this, I'd end up buying guns unnder false pretences.
I have a similar european model rated at 7.5 joules that is excellent at around 14-15 metres 2-3 cm grouping. It will even knock tins cans off a shelf at 25 metres. Mine has an attachable stock. Great gun.
ya know old man? i wasn't going to watch this review because pistols don't interest me much butt, i figured i'd watch it because you have a way about you that that lifts my spirits, so i watched it. this reminded me of the importance of spring guns. pcp is awesome butt, no power, no air pressure. springee dingee, always ready one shot at a time. i like the new range!
Had one, solid, big, heavy. Over accurate for my home short ranges. No challenge even one handed. Long trigger pull. Not one for the kids. I don't have a pest problem. So I sold it on. Replicas repeaters are more fun for plinking than a single shot break barrel. The Daisy Ryder was more fun and that's a kids gun.
Morning Andy , So Trevor and Kevin in 2 weeks ! Whoever next? I've never been any good with a pistol, mainly because I don't own one but Trevors keen price point alone could well make me give one a try . It seems to be solidly built and a little work on the trigger would have it running like a clock , clever Trevor ! Dave
As 'pistols', I find these and the like ridiculously huge. I wish they'd make more pistols like the old Webley Tempest, which were both powerful and accurate, in a 'pistol' size.
I am have moved away from led. I stuck to .177 long time, because more bang for the bucks vs .22. 1500 bb = 500 .177 = 200 .22. With the lead ban drama the alternatives are four times dearer. Plus I can pick up lose steel BB with a extendable magnet rod. I have had only one .22 gun in my long life.
Morning Andy, personally I prefer the smell of bacon in the morning 😆. I have a Hatsan 25 Which is very similar but spring powered, I think I paid £75 for it and it came in a kit with a metal target holder, targets and a tin of pellets
Yeah I have the Hatsan Mod 25 Supercharger (older metal version with gold trigger). It comes with a spot to screw on a moderator and has a recoil reduction system that actually works. Also, mine is a Vortex Piston version not the spring one. I haven't found a better, more accurate, or powerful break barrel pistol yet.
Pretty sure this has the *exact* same system as the Bo Manufacure Langley line (Hitman, Sniper, Silencer), and the Umarex IWI Mini Uzi, so if someone wants the pistol for it's power and kick, there are alternatives. I just can't get along with fiber sights, they bloom so much in my old eyes, and none of these come with iron sights, so: :(
comfortingly reminiscent of the old BSA Scorpion, mine made a crack like a 9mm (deffo needed a silencer, not so common in those days) and dieseled on every shot straight out of the box, ro the extent smoke came out the barrel
My mate had a BSA Scorpion, it was a bit of a handful when we were teens. I keep looking at pistols like this, the Trevox and the Hatsan... maybe I'll pick one up for Summer.
I had a scorpion back in the 80's. It was the only pistol that was anywhere near 6ft lb. Was basically BSA buccaneer without the stock. Gas guns illegal then. Moved to HW45 which was in a different league (and price). Eventually gas was legal and got a Benjamin hb which was perfect. Compact and powerful, still got it and still love it. Unfortunately you can't go wandering any more.
It is a 3 chamber silencer literally says it on the right up on every retailer and on the UX website 😂 nice to see research goes into these reviews. shine a torch down the end of barrel you can see it with your own eyes.
Got to be honest, don't see the point for 99% of people. I think the vast majority of the market for that, not all mind you, but most, is people starting off, who don't realise there are realistic looking and replica, CO2 blowback pistols, for about the same price or even way less. Lets be honest, when i was a teenager in the seventies, i can't imagine anyone not trading in their Webley Senior or BSA Scorpion for a blowback , semiauto , 15 rnd PPK/s in a heartbeat.😂 One of those sets you back about £115, plus bulk CO2 at about 20p for 2 magazines worth. I'd always rather use a rifle/carbine for pest control, trying to hit your quarry with one clean shot from a pistol is a tall order, even at close range. I could maybe see a better option being full power, non blowback, semiauto CO2 pistols. I know they fall into a grey area of the law, but at this point, someone may as well put a limited run on the market so we can get that cleared up in court once and for all. Rats in a barn, close up. What do we think, cumbersome single shot break barrel, or 10 rnd semi auto, with the added benefit of it feeling realistic in the hand and possibly being a replica in looks ? Great review though, as always.
It should but 'less margin for error' to be humane kill, also imo would not push far than 10 to 15 meter coz 20m sounds short but it is pretty far for .177 or .22 to fly that far with low ftlbs.
Well, i was waiting to hear the price, as Andy was saying it's such a bargain - and the bargain price isssss just below £120! Haaa haaa haaa - wait a minute so i can pick myself up from the floor as I'm busy laughing my arse off! In what distant banana republic with inflation out of control does Andy think £120 is a bargain for a single shot pistol????🤣

Nice one, love it
I've been using mine for around 2 n half years to dispatch rats it's still as good as the day I bought it, great value for money.
Had mine about 3years,absolutely a brilliant pistol paid £75 new a keeper.
First gun I ever bought, so much fun, very easy to use and reliable.
That's a great plinker for a backyard. Cheap as chips and easy to pick up and shoot.
Another excellent video!

Works nicely with a BSA red dot and a little trigger work. Very good ratter.
Might pick one up for the basement range for the winter..thanks andy
I have to ux strike point, and I payed £60 for it, great fun and pretty dam accurate too, love this one. cheers for sharing Andy
morning from snowy holland, it's a nice looking pistol and at that price it's not too bad
great review as always, I have one of these at home and use it for both despatching and target shooting
got one ,super fun gun, very reliable, carnt fault it.
Great video Andy, great pistol too, I've had one since they came out.

Hi Andy, that's a great review of a good looking pistol.
Morning Andy ,
So Trevor and Kevin in 2 weeks ! Whoever next?
I've never been any good with a pistol, mainly because I don't own one but Trevors keen price point alone could well make me give one a try . It seems to be solidly built and a little work on the trigger would have it running like a clock , clever Trevor !
Dave
A bit of Gaviscon needed. Works a treat
Good vfm, powerful too.
Looks a lot of fun. Never owned a gas ram, i believe they can be kept loaded longer than a springer?
Which do you think is best ,I have buck mark magnum 1.77 or this?
Hey Andy, any chance you could review the Umarex UX Iconix PCP rifle? I believe it's the cheapest PCP rifle currently available in the UK.
Wow, that's really good, its accuracy at 10 meters is pretty good. I'm surprised!!!!
Hi Andy could you do a review on the fx drs as I think you would like it as it doesn't look like a standard air rifle.
currently being done
...needs to do the trigger mod just like the other umarex break barrel pistols 💀...
"It has a rifled barrel" - I should hope so, that's kind of minimum entry requirements 😂
As 'pistols', I find these and the like ridiculously huge. I wish they'd make more pistols like the old Webley Tempest, which were both powerful and accurate, in a 'pistol' size.
Great little pistol liked the review and the price
Please review umarex t4e hdx 68 I can't find a good one in the UK
Always had a soft spot for oversize air pistols!
at first glance, it reminds me of the Hatsan Supercharger. I have one of those in .22.
Here we go...it is going to cost me again....nice review!
Why are people faving 177 on gun testing haven't seen a .22 for age's
I am have moved away from led. I stuck to .177 long time, because more bang for the bucks vs .22. 1500 bb = 500 .177 = 200 .22. With the lead ban drama the alternatives are four times dearer. Plus I can pick up lose steel BB with a extendable magnet rod. I have had only one .22 gun in my long life.
Andy can you show us your own personal collection
Cool video. The trigger can be improved. Sweet shooter.
Blimey, Trevor's a big lad isn't he? Haha
Morning Andy, personally I prefer the smell of bacon in the morning 😆. I have a Hatsan 25 Which is very similar but spring powered, I think I paid £75 for it and it came in a kit with a metal target holder, targets and a tin of pellets

Not bad Andy, not bad at all 👍
Morning all
Bonne démonstration de ce pistolet 👍
Mais je m’aperçois que les Chinois t’ont refilé les mêmes fausses cibles réactives qu’à moi !🤭🎯
The trigger on a Umarex Trevox air pistol can be adjusted.
Looks like my old BSA Scorpion..

Nice.
Can it be modified for a civil war?
Really I' d like the possibility to extend that barrel with a true silencer 😢
Nice pistol but the trigger is so long and creepy, I can't get a decent group outta mine, even with a red dot mounted to the grooved barrel.....
Looks like a BSA scorpion to me from the,80s
It is a 3 chamber silencer literally says it on the right up on every retailer and on the UX website 😂 nice to see research goes into these reviews. shine a torch down the end of barrel you can see it with your own eyes.
Evening all
Looks like an old webley I had
Hello, this channel is only for co2 guns or also green gas?
Andy, what ever happened to the “best comment of the week” 😢
looks like a space gun

Can i kill a bird on less than 20 meters?
.... with your After-Shave - probably!
@mikesharp4033 i don't understand what you mean

Good morning everyone 🙂
Like the old BSA scorpion pistol, I had one and loved it
I still have mine, and it's later brother the 240 Magnum.
Wish I kept mine
@@longyx321 Mine is complete with it's box, target holder, cocking assist, test certificate.
