Nice! There is actually a video from PMDG about the decent of the DC6:
    - Start decent on cruise power until ~ 12k feet, then call decent checklist
    - Plan for 5nm per 1000 feet you need to decent +15nm to slow down (@1000f/min VS)
The POH for DC6 is very thorough; they are called e Precision Manuals Development Group for a reason :)

I have a question regarding engine failure during landing. When you land, you actually use power to get to a runway. What should you do when engine dies? You obviously won't make it if you don't make any adjustments...

4:15 Isn't the heading indicator flipped in this airplane? I'd feel queasy flying north and seeing west indicated to the right. How often are HI's flipped like this in different aircraft types?

You may be referring to the 2 NAV needles. If no signal then they are in that position...

@@ucdbnxt7318 No, I'm not talking about the two NAV needles, which are on the co-pilot's side. I should have said compass instead of heading indicator.
It's a little hard to spot, but here's what I'm looking at:
      - Start at 4:15 , paused. Focus is on the center console.
      - Set video speed to 0.25 below normal. Might want to mute audio also.
      - Resume, slow. You notice Mr Gatcomb pans left rapidly.
      - Run just a few frames and you're looking over the right handgrip of the pilot's flight control wheel.
      - Just over that handgrip, just under the marker lights, is what I take to be a compass (has an airplane outline inside). It looks flipped to me, degrees increasing counter-clockwise.
      - Mr Gatcomb is indeed flying north of north-west, just over the Veteran's Hospital and on to Orlando Airport.
      - Just to the left of that compass is what I take to be a radio bearing indicator (RBI), degree markings increasing clockwise.
How does this look to you? I'd get queasy trying to counter-steer this needle.

I wanted to see you crash into some trees 😩. I feel robbed. Ripped off. Yes, even bamboozled (jk good video. Better than my method. I’d break out the geometry and draw some triangles. Very accurate tho. Has put me at altitude within just a few hundred feet of waypoints before, using autopilot to maintain speed and rate of descent
