I used your steps last night and finally got the TOD circle to show up and went from 33000 to 6000 as smooth as butter. Thank you for making the video and showing the steps, No more fudging with open decent using V/S but putting in the new altitude and letting the plane manage it.
@@FlyOverGamessorry, on the skypad on the dashboard, in the bottom right you have a mini map of the plane of its position. How do you get that. On my skypad on the dashboard I don't have the mini map.
@@Megacowmilker353 Do you mean small black map on the EFB (tablet) ? There was many updates on the FBW A320 since this video is recorded, I'm sure something must be changed since that time, however, map should be present always, are you sure you are using FBW version of the A320 ? Since Fenix is out I haven't use FBW so I'm not familiar with the airplane anymore, but there is no logic that map on the EFB will be removed. Try to check in the settings for the EFB and see if you can change theme or something.
@@FlyOverGames thanks for replying. Yes the little map that shows Europe and the little plane that shows your position. I notice some people have it and other people don't. So just wondered how to get that feature to pop up.
Excellent question, that depends on the distance from your destination and speed. There are free calculators that you can use for the descent, you need to know the present altitude, distance to the destination waypoint, altitude you want to be at the waypoint, and your speed. Search "flightsim.to" and you will find a calculator.
Not really, because you have that literally in every flight video, and there is nothing much to do than follow the checklist. It's plain and simple so doesn't need a special video for that, plus every airplane is different so every checklist is different.
This was short, sweet, and to the point. I feel more confident in flying the FBW A320 now! Thank you so much for this!

A year later it’s still the best tutorial out there. If only you could like things twice lol
Finally a Short tutorial covering the essentials!
Awesome video. Easy to follow, easy to understand, and 100% on the money for learning how to do it.
This is on point! Thanks
I wil try to do it this afternoon, thank you
Thank you very much for the video.
i have the same flypad, but how do you get the map on the dashboard of the little plane?
Can you explain your question I'm not sure what are you asking?

Good to use
And managed descent would be automatically going 3 degrees down? What if i wanted to sink in VS, how much ft/min would 3 degrees be there?

Have we must to used alwasys the word RIGMA to calculate TOD ?
No, that is in this flight plan, when you fly something else, you use that waypoint from the flight plan that you fly.
@@FlyOverGames ahhh ok, I wil use the point where I need to come a specifict altitud am i rigth ?
Thanks a lot, I just re view the video and all is clear, 🔥 I will try
I tried this technique, it was wonderful the TOD was perfect ! 👌 thanks a lot, what a nice video
Hello sir, can you make a video of after take off checklist need to do

It is really different from the b737.. Thanks you
couldn't you just type in the waypoint on the prog page and see from there how far you are?
No, because it will tell you the direct line distance, not following the route.
Really good tutorial but how can i get that tablet to the game?
That tablet is part of the airplane, are you using FBW A320 ? You must have tablet in the airplane by default.
I didn’t know that. Thanks for info.
Are u Turkish?
Hahah, nope i'm not Turkish.
Let VNAV do it.
There was no VNAV in A320 FBW at the time when the video is recorded, and still, it is only part of the experimental version for now.
