- A lovely edition for my collection, this Hoover Junior Deluxe has been on my wish list for a while and I am very pleased to finally own one. A much more modern style compared to the cloth bag Hoover uprights available at the time, with a sleek compact design but still incorporating the famous Hoover beats as it sweeps as it cleans action.
Lovely video and the way test the vacuum cleaning a mess is like asmr
I love the gentle beating sound the brush roll makes it sounds so relaxing
Reminds me of my mom's 1978 kenmore dual power powerease self propelled vacuum. I love how the vacuum would stay in operation position on its own.
We had an identical one. It was replaced by a HooverTurbopower and a Hoover Compact Electronic that my dad got as his retirement presents from Hoover.
Nice example in lovely condition. The Starlight and Junior Deluxe looked so much more modern compared to the cloth bagged Junior of the time.
Hopefully a service will have it running like new.
Steve from The Vintage Appliance Emporium recently featured the Starlight and Junior Deluxe in a video, explaining the difference between the two machines and the issues with the motor fan. If you haven’t watched the video it’s well worth a look.
It looks so cool. Like something out of Wall•E.
Wall e was forgotten D:
Hi Roger glad to see you its been a while that you posted a video
Very 1970’s colour! It really looks like “Butternut Squash Gold”! or some other food like “Caramel Orange” ...😀
Got this one in the green and ivory.enjoyed the video Roger
love this vaccum cleamer😊
I do liked the vacuum cleaner it did came out the same year as the first concept one by Hoover
Love the colour. 👍🏻
Great video!
awesome bring out the 70s groovy vacuum cleaner
1970's design was cool. 1970s colours?
Wow. Didn't care for them then, don't much care for them 40-50 years on.
Still, it's great to see a Hoover from back when they were still really good machines.
sure gr4ooms the carpets nicely
very nice 👌
Do you know the belt needed for this vacuum cleaner?
It should of been called the bumblebee Hoover Junior. Cause that’s what it looks like.
Not much in the way of agitation but it sure does suck! nice find!
The agitation will probably improve after a new belt is fitted.
Absolutely beautiful example. Did you grab this one from Vintage Appliance Emporium? I have wanted to grab so many of his cleaners including this one, but he understandably will not ship to the states.
No, I believe his was the model sold on eBay previously with the black writing rubbed off.
@@ibaisaic ahh that’s right, you are correct.
The demise of the Hoover Junior with this model. I used to repair them and this model was in for repair with the armature and bearings failing after a relatively short while compared to it's predecessors. A big mistake by Hoover with this model and the subsequent Hoover Turbo models and.
That is mad
What is your upload schedule. I did know it used to be Mondays and Fridays sometimes Wednesdays but the uploads are not consistent
Unfortunately my life is not consistent at the moment, but I am trying to upload at least twice a week.
Me tooo
Does someone know the AEG Cyclone XL? It's a really nice Vaccum!
How did you clean stairs with those?
Using the optional cleaning tools with double stretch hose.
Noice
It is 1978.

1978 according to the serial number.
Do you ever sell any machine. I been wanting this machine
I am selling some of my vacuums but this will not be one of them.
