- Here's a cleaner I've wanted for a while as it was a model I remember my grandparents owning. This lovely 1970s vacuum cleaner is in near mint condition and it hasn't blown up once!
I take my time marvelling at this yellow beauty, so this video is quite long, but it includes a belt change and a bit of Dyson V11 action for all you Dyson fans. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
there's something really comfortable about 70's cleaners in mustard yellow, dull orange, and chocolate that's very warm and nice

A lovely machine and one that makes perfect sense. Electrolux should still produce them. They’re built better than most anything produced today.

Just watched this video, it has brought back many memories of the 1970’s for me as a 10 year old seeing these Electrolux 504’s for sale in department stores along with the 502. I remember my next door neighbour having one too.
Like yourself I have always had a great interest in vacuum cleaners and have a few retro ones too. I’m jealous of your 504 as the one I have is not so smart as the immaculate example you have.

Very iconic British vacuum. You can't beat an old Electrolux from that era. Shame they went downhill in the 90s.
This is a little bit like if Mr Rogers were to demonstrate vintage vacuums on his program. And somehow I find it highly entertaining.

I am not a vacuum enthusiast. But I do love watching other people enjoy the small things. I enjoy vacuum cleaners and washers that work well, without any hoopla. This is a feet today, because they keep fixing things. This fixing is making aplliances more persnickety. This is a fine machine
What a lovely colour vacuum cleaner I remember my auntie having one in a pale green always liked using it when I went to stay thought it was pose and well made unlike today's vacuums can't wait to see mess test
OMG heavenly! What a gorgeous beautifully cared for machine. Delighted for you and for us to see. I will admit I actually bailed on the last Hoover video after I saw the broken parts. Not even my vacuum and it upset me. So this was so enjoyable. Superb video as always.

That vacuum is in magnificent shape. I wish I could get a vacuum from eBay and not pay a lot for it and have it be in that great of condition. Great video as always. Lots of love from the U.S.

My mum had one of these, I use to change the belt and filter and my gran had the 506 with electronic motor speed dial that was so exciting by comparison. Hoover beets as it sweeps as it cleans.Electrolux beats the hell out of the carpet.Brilliant.

Electrolux designed & made some fine quality machines. i wonder how this 504 is in such almost pristine condition after so many years ?

You need a bucket of warm soapy water and a hairdryer to clean/dry that stuff.
My neighbour had one of these, the Electrolux machines of the 70s always looked so much more modern than the Hoover machines.
But anyway I’ve been meaning to ask you-what are your honest thoughts on the V11-is it worth £600?
I have this vac. It needs a new belt, what size belt fits this vacuum and bags, I appreciate the help
Just search Electrolux 504 belt and Electrolux 504 bags and you’ll see plenty as they are still easy to get if you live in the UK.

My mother and nan both had one of these, must have been about 1980. Remember having to lift your legs while she pushed the bloody noisy thing round the lounge as i was watching the hot women on the fall guy.lol.
