Wish I seen this before I made my bidirectional dual motor esc purchase yesterday 😮💨. I'll be looking for your shop later, definitely.
Yes! Finally someone else is using these too. I found these ESCs on eBay quite a while ago and have been using them in both my beetleweights and antweights just because of how compact they are!
Sorry for the do-over, I felt it was necessary to give this video another try after how many complaints I got from people about how badly their robots were driving with the previous instructions. Using the correct wiring as shown here should be far far better!
Also apologies that the sponsor ad is outdated - the 9th anniversary promotion ended about 2 months ago now.
what a coincidence, I just wired up 2 geckos to this esc last night and I was having this exact issue. I was going to sleep on it and im glad I did, thanks dood
Definitely one of the best video out there about brushed ESC.....Bro I need help I am using 5A dual brushed esc for my 3.5ch RC heli I just can get both motors at same speed please help
I am using channel 3 for throttle sp pluged 3pin esc in ch 3 and yellow wire in ch 4 Also have switched polarity of motor for spinning right direction
Sorry but I have not used that esc before so I can't provide any help. Try contacting the seller for help.
@@JustCuzRobotics No problem its same as this but has 5A output. I am getting it working same as this video only problem is both motors not spinning at same speed
Use radio trims to adjust if the speed difference is not too bad
@@JustCuzRoboticsIts pretty bad.... I might try one more esc cause speed difference makes a lot of difference in RC heli it starts spinning around.....
Do you have to use the motor PCB or can you directly solder the jst connectors to the motors?
You can direct solder to the PCB or to the motor contacts, the board just makes it easier and more durable since the motor terminals are a bit fragile and repeated soldering can cause issues sometimes.
Good day Sir, i have a project with 2 brushed motor, i need to make them go straight, with two different motor it will be a challenge, my idea was to connect a drift gyro used on d12, from receiver to drift gyro(wpl d12) to dual(2 channel) brushed esc, will the gyro auto correct the two brushed motor? i built a submersible pool vaccum with 2 bildge pump as propellant but i want to go it as straight as possible
I haven't had any success using Gyros built into receivers personally. They're all built for cars where you use a steering servo to turn and they aren't designed for differential Drive robots where you need to affect both Channel 1 and channel 2 signals.
@@JustCuzRobotics I already solve the problem, I just need the to put diodes on each of the brushed motor, one motor responds to positive voltage turn and the other responds to negative voltage turn, thank you for your reply Sir appreciate it, I'll give you an update if it works, but im positive about it, pool tiles gives rough path for the robot vacuum, i just want it to run straight as possible for effeciency
Anyone else get a red flashing light on the main motherboard?

Umm.. Why is the left side of your robot labeled as right and right as left? that is confusing af. I'm guessing you don't drive a car?
I drive a car, but I labeled it that way as that is the left and right side in the CAD view looking from the front. I realize it's a little backwards from when driving the bot, but the labels are covered in combat anyway.
