    Thanks for this vid. We ordered one at the weekend and tbh were not able to think of all the questions we have about features at the time, although of course the dealer will be happy to help you have given us a much greater insight into our newest member to the family.

    Other reviewers weren't so positive about the driving dynamics. Some said it felt underpowered, and that the engine felt harsh and strained under spirited acceleration or when passing other vehicles

    • @chanmunwong2273

      Any cars, if driver immediately step to excelerate ,of course engine will be noisy hard sound. Hrv is not for racing fast . It's for comfort driving 🚗

    • @hisspwn4290
      @hisspwn4290 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chanmunwong2273 not true, take a look at toyota chr 2.0, they greatly reduced that drooling sound of the hard e-cvt acceleration now. In this new honda the engine noise is very critizied by almost all reviewers.
      Toyota just made it way more user friendly, for the same money you get 2litre hybrid system with waaay more power and the same efficiency.
      This honda is great but it needs either more power or should cost less. Otherwise the 2.0 C-hr is a no brainer.

      @djc2609 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@hisspwn4290 have you driven the car? I've driven it extensively and it is not underpowered. It has more than enough power for overtaking. However this car really shines around town minimising the use of petrol engine. It is so quiet and relaxing. I've driven corolla hybrid and yaris cross hybrid. The yaris is slower, noisy and unrefined with the engine buzzing everytime it kicks in. In the Honda you can barely tell when the engine kicks in. The corolla was smoother but it didnt feel any more powerful than the Honda.
      I'll take the Honda over corolla hybrid or yaris cross hybrid any day

      @@djc2609 you forgot about the fact that Honda is very prone to corrosion, in fact its the worst among all Japanese brands.... to the point that 4-5 year old cars have serious rust deposits in the chassis

    • @djc2609

      @@hisspwn4290 what a non sense. Lol according to whom? My folks have 2006 Honda Civic sedan still on the road and is perfectly fine and hasn't missed a beat. I've known people with Honda long term and never heard anyone complain about corrosion. In this day and age, corrosion from cars are not even common from any brands, period. But sure make your justification that way if you think that's a critical factor lol

  • @johnf8700
    @johnf8700 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    was the engine noisy? until which speed you were full battery driving and no with petrol?

    • @brayleys
      @brayleys  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The engine kicks in to work along side the electric motors if you put your foot down on the pedal or if you start cruising 40-50mph +. The battery on Honda Hybrids work constantly to assist the petrol engine making it as efficient as possible. Noise wise, we have not experienced anything out of the ordinary. I suggest giving it a test drive to find out for your self so you can judge!
