  • The two biggest takeaways from my drive in the new HR-V from Honda is that you can achieve and even exceed the claimed efficiency numbers and on top of that, the vehicle is great to look at, has a remarkably spacious cabin and decent levels of tech. It should be quite a bit more popular than the old HR-V, even if this new one is hybrid only and costs from 32,000 euros with some options on it (you could get the older one for less without electrification).

Hello, thanks for the great upload. I am considering to buy one. However on other forums people have complained about Road noise on motorways. How was your experience with it when you drove it at 120-130 km/h.

Do you know what type is the fuel system of 1.5l petrol engine - direct or port injection? If it is direct injected then that is the biggest issue compared to noise and vibrations .

I have one with 4500km, it's not perfect and there aren't any perfect cars, what I know is that I'm completely surrendered to the HR V... and much worse, completely addicted to driving, on mixed course I'm with 4.6 liters / 100km and with air conditioning always on, today I was in Lisbon, 38° is a wonderful car I had a 110cv Renault DCI Diesel engine ... and it never dropped below 6.4 litres/100km greetings 🇵🇹

Have had one for almost 4 months and consumption is stable 4,6 - 4,7 L/100 km. Motorway above 5 L/100 km. City often below 4 L/100 km.

Honda´s hybrid system is a serial system - Toyota´s is a parallel system. Good review, though.
