The blue children just had a vitamin deficiency or too much of something. Can’t recall. It would be a very short story with a very long filler of Ballen’s damn frog thing.
Edit: I was corrected. This is the Blue Fugates (genetic mutation from inbreeding). I was thinking of Suffolk’s “Green Children.”

I miss Summer of 21 for several reasons, as it was last time I was able to go abroad (these days I barely can reach the supermarket 100m away from me). But back to early summer 2021, me and my then Partner stayed in Sardegna, and a ritual I made was listening to 2-3 Mrballen videos as gn8 stories. He was in the 200-300k subscriber area, but I know he would become big soon, nearly 50k new subscribers when we left 10 days later. The editing etc wasn’t worse to me, but I knew that finding up to 5 stories/week that most didn’t know yet was impossible to maintain. Back then there was also much more strange, dark n mysterious content. Now it’s mostly people dying in horrific ways. Especially the mysterious stories were real good stories b4 going to bed, now a lot of the stories make me depressed, no longer gn8 stories, as I don’t want to dream about what I just heard.
Still, when it’s sunny outside and in a good mood, I watch 2-3 of his stories.

Fantastic story! The only correction I would add is that this is not the only case where a person has literally died of fright. Dying of fright is actually a well-established phenomenon that has happened to many people. It's when a big enough surge of fear causes the brain to release a flood of adrenaline, which in high enough amounts causes cardiac arrest.

The floor at the top of the stairs is not the ground. Not even the ground floor of a building is the ground. It's still a floor. Sure, the ground and the floor are synonymous with each other, but there is also a distinction. I'll accept it as the ground, but if you go higher up, say, the second story, there is no ground, only floor. I am in the flooring business. That's why I take it so seriously. It's not enough to make me unsubscribe, but it could do the storytelling some good to increase vocabulary and use more distinct words.

That was an amazing story! My grandmother would have dreams that came true. She told me of a Confederate army group that buried boxes of gold and guns under her house in a dream she had, I was the only one she told this story to. Years later I realized her house was behind and almost adjacented to the Confederate arsenal that was destoryed in civil war! She had not been educated in the civil war history of Fayetteville North Carolina, and did not know there was a arsenal half a mile from her house.

I only a youngster and I was put in a police cell in the original Bow Street Police Station and I was sitting in the number one cell when all of a sudden I heard a young girl crying for her mother, it started faintly, it got louder and then it started faintly again and it just stopped, mama mama that is the only word that I heard mama, I got let out of the cell and I said to a police officer, why did you lock that little girl you should’ve put her in my cell, he just looked at his friend and looked straight back at me with shock and horror on his face, and then he said, what little girl Steve so I told him what I had heard, and he said no Steve, you heard the ghost of the Bow Street Cells and then he told me the story of this poor little girl, in the late Victorian times a mother was found stabbed to death in her kitchen and the bastards blamed the young girl and they put her in the cells in the number 2 cell and apparently she died of a broken heart and the last person to go into that cell so say died in a mental hospital, and the cell hadn’t been opened since the mid 1950s and when I heard the poor girl it was in the mid 70s, I’ve been spiritual all my life since my childhood, when you go into a police cell you have to take your shoes and belt off because you can hang yourself with either of them but, when I came out of my cell, I honestly made a conscious look on the floor of the next but it was slammed shut and there was no shoes or nothing outside so it was just left shut until it was knocked down or transferred into a hotel believe it or not, but one positive thing came out of it all the bastard that killed her mother was actually her father and they hung the horrible bastard, so he stabbed his wife to death and was hoping that they think it was his daughter and he just let her die in those terrible conditions, it’s just unbelievable but, it’s a very tragic and true story, I just wish I could’ve done something for her but I couldn’t I’m very sorry to say.
Have a great new year from Stevie boy in England.

I watch every upload but never did I expect Sheffield to feature on here, let alone Campo Lane! I’m from Sheffield and have worked on Campo Lane for the past 9 years. You sometimes see the odd “haunted tour” taking place on this street. Our Barbershop has a basement that nobody enjoys going down into, which has some doors inside that are completely blocked off when opened, and a staircase leading to a blocked off wall. Some days in the shop fridge doors open and close (on their own), clippers switch on by themselves, items go missing then appear in incorrect places. The street runs behind Sheffield Cathedral and the road itself was made wider by removing a large section of the graveyard (early 1900’s I believe). But yeah, never heard this story before so this was a massive surprise!

Please do find out. Now im interested. Mr Ballen didn't explain the story fully. Apparently, the ghost did talk to Ward. The spirit told her it was the restless soul of Elizabeth Johnson, murdered by her nephew, William Dawson, on 26 March 1722 and buried deep beneath the cellar "watery grave". The final message was, "The garret and the cellar are now marked with my blood."
Had to do some real digging to find the report. Mr Ballen left alot of things in this story.

Mr Ballen, your stories get better when I smoke a joint😂 Always support you, been subscribed to you since almost the beginning. Stories are always really cool, you and Mr Nightmare should collab that story would be great, especially if the two of you voice act the storyline. Just a heads up I believe collabs would become a thing.

It really wasn't. Great story though. Propably just heart attack. They couldn't find trases of blood flow drama at that time. It's hard today even. It's just a story and basements are scary. I've had 3 heart attacks and I'm 40 and healthy. I don't get scared so my body recovers because I stay calm. I know I don't propably see my 60's but I would surely be dead if I believed in ghosts or anything supernatural..

AI generated anything is terrifying. The humanoid bots that are hiring lawyers to obtain identities/wed/have babies/conversate with each other/and reproduce, the pictures/movies/music they can create and emulate, and the access and control they have to dangerous things like communication and weapons is all so very scary. It's as if the movies were foreshadowing, especially the parts about humans creating it, not heeding any warnings, letting it get out of control, and then not being able to stop it. But I sound like a crazy doomsday conspiracy theorist when I say that.

Pro tip: If a ghost tells you that "...there is gold buried near my body at this location" you are duty-bound to tell the ghost (without a touch of fear) "I don't care about the gold. You need not embellish your need for your body to be found. Simply point where it is, and I will find it". Only then can the spirit of the ghost transition to a better place. It's that simple.

The only thing you got wrong is that these types of houses don't have doors to the basement. They have hatches in the floor, with a ladder. They were mainly used to store coal down there.
They generally don't have windows either, the ones that do the windows are like 8 inches long and even smaller high

That's not true that this is the only time someone died from just getting scared. In another story a woman jumped from a bridge with a parachute that failed to open and it was determined that she died before landing from a hearth attack that occurred during the fall when she realized the parachute wouldn't open.
