FYI Ben Hausdorf whose name you screenshot at the beginning is the one who films and puts together the ptxperience videos from 2018 on. He is also Kirstie’s boyfriend. They met while he was working for Ptx. Fun fact he’s also the one who plays the grinch if you watch a live performance from one if the Christmas concerts.

Thank for reacting to this. Mitch has lots of tattoos, Scott and Kirstie have some too. If you followed Kevin on Instagram, you would see how much he works out. Mitch even gets a tattoo on one of the Superfruit vlog. I hope you get Ben on again. I think they were so happy to be together and working together was part of the reason they recorded so much together.

I also thought of you, when I first watched that, Jacob. I really like these types of videos too. Also the behind the scenes of the tour. They are so funny all together, sometimes playing games with each other or even pranks, and sometimes they have their dogs too, or give each other outfit advices. Its so entertaining.

So normally they do Record separately, not together. I don't know if you know but during COVID, RCA, their label paid to put a studio in each of their homes so that they could continue to do songs and video's. They decided to do this project together because 1. They'd not been together for so long working and they wanted to reconnect, 2. The project had to be done quickly, they did it in less than 2 months and 3. as you said they were also partially preparing for the Tour at the same time and doing Video's. These guys generally spend a ton of time together and COVID put a large damper on that because they're in Cali and everything was shut down for soooo long. So they had a blast just being in the Studio together for like 2 months together putting Evergreen together.
As for Kevin being Jacked, ummm yeah, you should watch some video's where he's working out, dude can deadlift and bench some weight. Around 2016 he started working out with Avi and then never stopped and decided he wanted to be his healthiest self. He spends like an hour or more in the gym every day. If you look back at early PTX video's and size of his chest then compared to now....yeah he's jacked.

Re Kevin - yes, he does a lot of lifting and such. You can see him at the gym in a number of his TikToks. Note re album vs. the tour versions: Mitch took over a lot of the album guest female leads' parts in the live shows. Re volume of individual singers: Scott is capable of oversinging just about anyone! Way back when, in the Sing-Off, the judges dinged him for it; he learned to tone it down and blend in. Their faces when they first hear The Prayer in the pre-final cut! I hope someone shares this video (of your reaction) with Ben Hausdorf. As mentioned below, he is Kirstin's SO, as well as their on-tour photographer/videographer. In one of the fan videos of the tour, you could see him going back and forth right in front of the stage, filming.

What's revealing is how truly collaborative this allowed them to be. They probably hadn't had that since the Sing Off days, and possibly the TH-cam only covers they've done since.

As a choir nerd, I remember using my pencil EXTENSIVELY. especially the songs in Russian, where we couldn’t read the alphabet! Pronunciations we’re definitely taken note. 😆

You might also want at some point to watch and even react to The Prayer - BTS video from their channel to see how they made that video. It's cool too. Yeah not sure why Kirstie posted that stat that day in her story. While it is a high viewed video it certainly isn’t number 2. That still belongs to Daft punk medley. I think it makes it into the top ten most viewed but Mary did you know, little drummer boy, bohemian rhapsody, cheerleader and evolution of music are all higher than sound of silence. I’m sure once it’s out as long as the others it has a good chance cf catching up in views.

PTX performed The Prayer live, on America's Got Talent a few weeks prior to release date. They've often said that they "learn fast" when it comes to practising arrangements

Any way you can define "Homophonic songs"-they referenced that they usually record separately except in the case of homophonic songs.
“homophony, musical texture based primarily on chords, in contrast to polyphony, which results from combinations of relatively independent melodies.
