This should become iconic because It answers so many questions about what's happening, how they're recording, etc. It demonstrates that they truly work together to make every single note count. English translation (thanks Google) for us poor English only speakers: "Beloved Sister in Christ, WOW the first song! THAT IS THE LONGING OF THE FATHER'S HEART! You guys make hard work look like fun.....
Aug 17th 2021 my mom passed away. As many do, I knew I was headed for a very emotional Christmas time. I didnt want to listen to Christmas music, I hadn't even cried over my mom passing I was just...numb. This album came out and I said okay its the pentatonix, I am going to have to listen at least once. This album...ugh lol...Listening to the song Evergreen was the first time I really truly cried. Guttural cry missing my mom....this album means a lot to me and saved my Christmas this year. 🎄 I can never be thankful enough to them for this.
Wow! What a sweet comment. What a beautiful part they got to play in your healing! Sending you love.
im not even joking, my mum was born in aug 17...
That...was... awesome! Thank sooooo much for letting us see the process 🥰
I’ve been following pentatonix since 2011 . Saw them live in Boston in 2019 and I still can’t believe how incredible they sounded live
Love how y'all are still working to improve your game. And I absolutely love how y'all are still good friends after all these years, not many people can remain friends.
They were sooooo good in concert in Grand Rapids!!! Just really a treat for Christmas!!
Vocal perfection. These days they are needed more than ever to sooth during these stressful days :-).
You guys have come so far. I've watched y'all since the beginning. I still want to sing with you all. See y'all in concert. You guys are so talented. I admire you so much. Love from a choir girl
This should become iconic because It answers so many questions about what's happening, how they're recording, etc. It demonstrates that they truly work together to make every single note count. There is not one creative genius, but the five plus the behind the scenes team. The most amazing part is how they all actually listen to each other! Having been on multiple amateur choirs, etc, I know how rare that truly is.
I love this. Sometimes I feel like I forget they're a capella because their songs are just so full and rich, I tend to forget they're not using any instruments. Videos like this remind me of how much work they put into their music. Like that short part in Over the River - such a short part of the song, just a few words, and they sing that over and over again until it's perfect. I can't express how much I love and respect Pentatonix.
Love everyone and every song. Happy Holidays and a safe New Years! Thank you all for being so open, it’s just fun watching you all.
Not Mitch just casually texting while they are being played the masterpiece that is The Prayer 😅👏 an icon 🙏 love you all thanks for the fantastic music!
J'adore l'harmonie de leur voix, chacune d'elles me fascine. Je les écoute depuis leur passage au concours des voix. Merci merci de m'enchanter ainsi.
