God even just seeing Gamera walking towards you in anxiety inducing. The absolute scale and just that silhouette at night.
Props to the game for making something from Gamera scary, probably the whole civilian perspective of the game.
The lack of annoying kid characters also helps.
Gamera Heisei trilogy where most of this is from is why it's more menacing watch those if you haven't

Yeah, that's one of the annoying nitpick of this game, is that the characters don't ACTUALLY crossover with each other
@@mwizachihana9551 Pretty sure the game was intended to have them crossover, but due to some bs with the license holders of the characters they refused to have them onscreen together

I can't read Japanese, so can someone tell me what is up with the protagonist and this dude with the white tux
From what I can understand, the guy in the tux is a Yakuza member or something similar. Him and his buddies were doing a deal when all this went down, and your character sees them in the middle of the deal. So this bright guy goes after you the whole game despite all the other stuff happening.

fighting giant enemy is really awesome~
I have an idea. I'magine an open world game playing as an EDF Ranger, Air Raider, Wingdiver or Fencer and you fight all of our favorite giant monsters in a combined universe which includes Ultra Man, Evangalien,Gamera, Godzilla, and all of there monsters. Under s brand new single universe. But everything would need to make sense. There would also need to be new monsters and there should still be smaller enemy's like giant insects and dragon and cosmonauts and stuff. But I think the story should be Aliens are attacking but they have control over most of Earth's monsters. So now we are left with our Mass Military Arsenal and our giant mechs. All monsters and mechs would need to be redesigned to fit the games Futuristic astetic. But the game should play like an EDF game and just have giant monsters and different enemies maybe have dinosaurs instead of ants lol.
I'magine it EVA 01 vs GODZILLA.

this game's sound design is terrible. The graphics are also really bad for PS4. The street-level perspective on famous Kaiju is the only real draw. That part is admittedly awesome though.
