Thanks Jonathan. I sat on these for almost a month before I finally installed them. I am not a big fan of doing installations while lying down, it hurts my neck… lol. You’re absolutely right, buys you peace of mind. So on that note, I’m working on installing a kill switch next. More peace of mind!
I bought the RCI aluminum skid plate with their added cat shield. Skid plate plus cat protection all in one. Bolted right up with TRD Pro front skid plate.
Installed mine today 4/14/24 the driver side gave me a little problem the passenger wasn't too bad Very sturdy good quality Anyone noticed any heating problems?
They work excellent if they’re automatics but if they’re manuals, they had to be modified a little bit you had to add on 2 1/2 to 3 inches of metal so I can cover the passenger side better just give you heads up
Put mine on last week. Quick and simple. TY for the video.
Awesome video because I just installed mine recently. Definitely worth the price and peace of mind.

Nice! I considered that too but I already have the factory skid plate so this is a little cheaper. =)

Awesome man!
I ordered mine about a month ago and still haven't been shipped. How long did you have to wait for your Cat Shield to arrive?
Mine took over 2 weeks… worth the wait!
Looks good! (galing)

Hey thanks for sharing this info wilyceyote!
are you planning to Rust proof your Tacoma?
I have the Toyota factory installed electronic corrosion control module which comes with a 10-yr warranty. Looks like I have some complaining to do.
It's a sad world that this is a thing
Ain’t that the ugly truth. I hear yah.
