same as it ever were: the largest balls in the world when you outnumber the invader, and then quit out when you are in 1v1 with blue summons, 30% more health and double the estus. These are the people who would cry about Dark Souls needing an easy mode. The disconnect is the most delicious thing these little cowards can provide, and they do, often and without fail. The funniest part is, often times these disconnecters are gankers sitting at the bonfire; they would basically loose nothing from a death, save their embered buff, so this disconnect must be because their fragile little egos cannot stand the possibility of losing, in a game centered around difficulty, and persevering despite losing. It is funny precisely because of how pathetic it is.

Bandai needs to outright remove quit outs online play. Quit out? No summoning your friends, no being summoned, no invading or being invaded. You can only play in other servers like cheaters or in the arena. Thats it. Quitting out is like cheating cause it screws the invader. Ya lag out? then make a case to support to get online privileges restored and prove it with computer/network connectivity logs
I was clearing solo through the Irithyll Dungeons when I got invaded, pulled back to a spot that I thought I had cleared, and waved at the invader. We traded a few blows, I rolled backwards... and got ganked by a bunch of hollow prisoners that I'd forgotten about. The invader came in and tried to take advantage of it, so I started chugging estus. When the hollows were dead, it became clear very quickly that I was the better fighter, so the invader ran away and black crystalled. Dude, if you didn't want me to chug, you should have let me take out the hollows before we resumed the fight.
Why some people just afraid to die in Dark Souls game? They better stick to Stardew Valley or something. Heck, even Candy Crush player has more courage and not afraid to fail than DS3 rage quitter.
Hey Chase! Where can I find you invading? (What SL and locations? Or do you use Wex Dust?) I really want to test my PvP skill, and even if I don’t find you, I’ll still probably find strong players at whatever SL you invade in, so :)
I know there's not much accounting for times when internet connections actually go to shit, but it wouldn't be difficult at freakin' all to implement some kinda script that actually monitors keystrokes and goes "If you're invaded, quitting out via the menu or ALT-F4 nets you a penalty". Just softban quitters for a week or something. The game's already so stacked in the host's favor vs invaders I can't really conjure any sympathy for people who quit out as soon as they aren't winning.

idk, I think it's BM to tryhard gank someone with like 2-3 phantoms then run like a bitch every time you're alone to resummon infinitely. Not to mention he cleared EVERYTHING, so all he had was the boss left which is right beside the bonfire so it's not like he's losing any progress. I feel like the least you can do is fight the invader honorably once he's killed all your phantoms. Especially if it's just 1 invader & you have nothing to lose but false pride
