At this point my father being a retired electrical engineer. He says there must be a automatic thermal switch in the internal amp that is faulty. Which would require disassembly of the radio. No known part to fix it yet.
Its ridiculous the amount of people have this problem and the only solution is "dealership fix". I have the same problem but only after the car is hot. Cold starts it works fine. So aggravating.
@@joelpatterson3413 I just bought and installed a wrecked cars radio. Everything so far is working properly. No programming needed. That's my $250 dollar answer to the dealerships $1,800 answer.
I have it on my glk car, and I don't think it's a imp issue rather a mother board damage coz I there is no imp on my car or this type of radio I went to a shop where the change it fully n it works good.

Well, I finally got mine working. The problem appraently came from the amplifier in the boot/trunk. It was too expensive to replace so I had someone bypass it. Works fine. Output is good too

hey i have a problem with aux, here normal radio all fine, i use aux only musik is play in on the passengersite, and on driver site only quit in the top speaker any one can help ,me pls
its a common fault in this radios mitsubichi made,hardware fault in main board DSP part,not easy to fix need professional to do this , i use to repair this radios for 8 years more than 100 unit same fault

Unfortunately I don't have the external amp option and replacing the internal comand amp is a bit more complex (and maybe not the complete solution as others are reporting). But thanks for sharing!
Some problem with the main board of the radio, think it is the DSP chip on it.. Dealer will prob ask you for ~400€ repair.. But you can find repair shops that repair for around 150€

Well, I finally got mine working.
The problem appraently came from the amplifier in the boot/trunk.

I have the same problem but once I used Auxiliary to listen to TH-cam after that I start to have this problem. Some times work and sometimes goes off
I pulled one out of the junk yard and replaced it and everything works fine now I had the same problem

Just got mine checked out, it was after washing my car (c63 w204) the problem was these little rubber plugs around my trunk that were missing

Dawit Worku you have to change the fuses in the back of the radio (20) the number is 20 or the one in the engine bay

Bad news sorted by dealer Brand New stereo 2.5k fortunetly car was under warranty
