I’m a native Floridian but I move to East Tennessee! When I journey I never can decide what to take so I pretty much take everything! lol! I enjoy watching y’all’s videos because y’all make me laugh! I like that y’all are married and working together! 😊💜💕 Oopsie, I forgot to say I really like your cards! Another Oopsie! Lol I’m going to make lots of these fit thank you cards! I love the black and white one that y’all made! Y’all are so inspirational! Thank you again! Have a blessed time in Florida! 😊
What a neat idea. I make little cards all the time with left over supplies. Now I'll just make the backgrounds with the pocket to slide them in. Thanks for the idea.
Hi Karen & Tim! I sent Tim and I also sent you a card but apparently you haven’t received your card yet Karen. So glad that you showed my card I enjoyed making it. Just as I said I enjoy your videos you make me laugh you make me smile I’ve BingeWatch your videos laugh out loud. Stay safe enjoy your vacation! Love this fun for the can’t wait to try it! Thank you for sharing I love it! 🙏🏼❤️😇
I'm so glad I found you! You two are the cutest thing on planet! Luv Luv Luv that you're working together and so joyful. I can't wait to show my 84 year old mom - she'll so enjoy watching you two. She might even get inspired once again to make some cards with me! If so, we will create a pocket card and send you one or post it. Great cards - so beautiful. Can hardly believe you thought to bring all this on vacation.
I would love to get a card from you and your 84 year old mom --- I think its so fun when there is something you can work on together. If you send us card, be sure to include that you made it together - I love hearing the stories behind the cards (as I'm sure you know - lol)
Love this . You guys are just too cute . I really enjoy your videos. I think it is awesome that Tim works along beside with you. You both have good ideas. I'll be waiting for your next video. Enjoy your vacation .
We always go to the same place just after Christmas and into the new year and it's a holiday apartment at the North Sea coast, very quiet up there, just walking, sleeping, reading, swimming (in the pool, not in the sea!!!), sauna, cooking, eating - and for me, crafting, of course. Since I know there's an "Action" store up there (a Dutch chain store with lots of cheap craft supplies), I take the most basic tools (scissors large and small, a cutting knife, a steel ruler, a bone folder, cutting mats small and medium), glues (foam pads, foam tape, liquid glue, snail, narrow double-sided tape), coloring pencils or markers. I also take some sets of bought pre-cut 3D cards and toppers as well as stamped & die-cut images ready to color. I then usually find some more pre-cut sets at the store there, plus I buy one of two storage boxes of the kind I use all the time. I start out with making loads of 3D toppers to last me for the year (or longer) - if I run out of any type of glue, I can buy more there. I also play with the card sets - I usually put them together differently from what the package says. And then I color my pre-stamped images. Vacation over, two boxes full of pre-made elements, and a couple of cards. I loved this video - not just because you're sending out such happy-mood vibes, but also because there weren't that many measurements to follow and you are not heavy on the advertising. You sell by simply demonstrating and chatting and entertaining, I'm sure, while others give a lecture on product numbers, special prices, how you can't go without this or that, and never stop mentioning how fantastic everything is. You make me want a certain type of paper simply because I SEE how versatile/pretty it is. Thank you and enjoy your time in Florida - best wishes from Germany!
What sweet comments from you, Stefanie! Thank you so much and I love hearing about your traditional post Christmas vacation. What a great tradition - and to be able to look forward to it all year is fabulous!
@@KarenTitus You know, most of my friends and colleagues don't see it as something to look forward to, they think I'm just ticking off the annual vacation still left. But it's not, it's our Big Oooom vacation, very important to us. The place we go to is practically closed down at the time we go, there's a bakery open between 7 and 10 and a fish shack selling fish - no chips - in a bun at lunchtime. Our apartment is on the tenth floor of one of the two ugliest buildings in the vicinity, and luckily, we are looking out onto the sea and the woods. So I always say we are in the best place to be - we can't see our building! This is my vacation back porch. Thanks for all you do.
So cool! When did you live there? Tim graduated from Jackson High in 1967 and I did in 1968. My folks owned the Jerome's V Store in downtown Jackson and I worked there all through junior and senior high school
I loved this video so much I am offering it as help for a sketch challenge I prepared for a Christmas Cardmaking group on Facebook that I help moderate. I hope our members will come and watch this before attempting the challenge. You two are so happy together it shows.
Just wanted to let you know that I just made two dozen of this style card. I used the free paper from Sale-A-Bration with the flowers that have the darker backgrounds. I cut all 12 pieces of DSP.!! It was fantastic. Love this idea!
A cold 17 degrees in Missouri and a snow storm! I like to take my paper pumpkin if I'm not gone for very long but it doesn't matter what I bring I wish I'd brought other things!😆 ❤️
Fun in Florida have lots of fun. Keep warm. Love the card Tim made too. I’m going to case it. I never thought about a pocket card like that. I enjoyed the cards. Thank you so much for showing us how to make them. You could put another pocket on the tucking card and put a gift card in it with a note written behind the gift cards. Got my brain working now. Laughing.
Lovely cards, Tim and Karen! Last year, we spent 5 weeks in southern France and I brought all Stampin' write markers and a Memories and More set. It wasn't enough, by far. Next vacation will probably be in summer and to the same camp site, but then I'll be bringing LOTS more. It will be easier, what with the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. For now, we're snowed in: só rare in our part of the Netherlands!
What a fun idea which I will definitely be having a go at. 😊 The measurements will have to be altered to U.K. card sizes , but I’m sure that won’t be too hard.. You really are such enjoyment to watch during sad covid days, you have the patience of a saint with Tim, but it’s lovely watching him have a go. Enjoy your time away x
Just watched you for the first time. I really enjoyed it. Pocket card is a need idea. I'm impressed you take enough supplies to make so many different cards. Thanks for measurements.
Hello, I saw this video today. First time I have seen y'all. Love this card. After the video I immediately had to give it a try. I am so happy with this card. This is almost too easy to do. I plan to make a bunch of this tomorrow.
Hello Karen and Tim from Cape Town, South Africa. I subscribed to your channel because you guys really enjoyed doing what you do. Enjoy your holiday. Happy Engagement Anniversary. Thanks for sharing this great pocket card idea. I will definitely try it. I'm fairly new to making cards. 💖🤗😊

LOL Karen, I lived in Florida for 7 winters. The first year I didn't take much and almost went crazy! The following years I took almost everything. The largest heaviest luggage was full of my craft supplies and tools. I was much happier.

These are great cards. I still have my Button bear set...! I was going to tell you a tiny acrylic block works great to cut your tear and tape with, leaving a nice straight edge.
