    I have learned Zentangle from a CZT (certified Zentangle teacher). This pattern is a variation of a pattern called Huggins. Huggins is the last name of one of the daughters of Maria (I think it's Martha), who along with her partner Rick, developed Zentangle and hold the workshops to certify others. Martha invented the pattern. The difference is that Martha used curved lines instead of straight to connect everything. Shading is another important thing to do with Zentangle, it makes all the difference. Anyone can do Zentangle, there are no mistakes.

    • @Mari-cre8s
      @Mari-cre8s ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Zentangle is a wonderful adventure started by / truly amazing people! I went to CZT training years back and it was the best gift I have given myself! There’s a lot of dilution if it out there that focuses on the finished product vs the process, hugely important distinction. Anyone can do Zentangle, and reap many benefits from the process…. And enjoy beautiful end products as well! Thanks for sharing this Natasha!

    I was having a hard time getting my lines on the right side (inside vs. outside). After several attempts I got a fresh piece of paper and drew it in pencil then when over my lines with my ink pen. This allowed me to correct my mistakes and begin to train my eyes and hand to the correct pattern. Such fun!! Thanks for all the new techniques you introduce to us Tasha!!

      Interesting fafct: Zentangle is a method to focus your attention on drawing lines one after the other, to calm the mind, and for a while leave all other thoughts aside, the endresult (the drawing) is not really important. It is the rest and relaxation (meditatio-like) that is. Natascha is using a single tangle to enhance her cards an very well done. I like the effect. If you are interested in the method find a ZCT (zentangle certified teacher ) in your neighbourhood or on line. There are quite few all over the world. I use the zentangle method every day, it has greatly enriched my life. whe you use tangles to make beautiful creations (sometimes combined wit outher creative processes it is called a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art)

    Hi Natasha, Thanks again for a brilliant card. When I first saw it I thought what a great stamp! I have to find it. I hope it’s still available. But then I watched you create it. Fantastic!!’ I have those fine artist black pens and I also have them in different colours too. I can’t wait to try it. Thank you for showing me how to do that weave. My brain is telling me to also play and try the weave lines in a curve…I wonder how that design would look? You inspire me to think and try new things and just play and have fun. I would have loved to sit in your classroom and be one of your students. I would’ve loved you to be my teacher. But I just realised you already are my teacher so thank you so much Natasha.
