My parents and I accidentally wound up in Shepherdstown, WV last year on our trip to Baltimore and Tyson Bagent is a veritable superstar in that town. A shocking number of people were wearing his Bears jersey. 4 separate people 1 day and he wasn’t even starting that weekend. Plus his college jersey was hung up and framed in the Japanese restaurant we went to
@@woodyhitya It actually is not that hard to do heading to Baltimore, depending on the directions. He seriously is. The town and the surrounding area is so proud of him being in the NFL. He also is just such a humble and easy going guy. I grew up in the town next to Martinsburg, (Hedgesville) and I rooted for him back in HS while I was working in local news. He brought a lot of moxy and charisma to Shepherd. The team has had winning ways ( I was a senior band member during the 2015 D2 playoff championship game against NW Missouri State). He just elevated things to 11 when he was there. Between him and Brenton Doyle, Shepherd has a lot to be proud of.
@@bluemeltedpopsicleI think if you find more of a point to looking at backup QB’s than some of the most popular baseball players or best baseball players of all time, you don’t really know sports that well.

Looking at the state of starting QB's around the league, I think he'll probably get a shot with another team. Bears will either get a pick for him, or some team will offer a just big enough contract to make it hard for the Bears to match it in 2026.
Your wish will probably be coming true soon lol after that week 1 performance from Williams, I have a feeling Bagent is going to be starting QB pretty quick lol
@Liquorice_Monster negative ball knowledge. Caleb is not getting benched for Tyson. He didn't play bad, but he didn't play good. It's just his first official NFL game. I'm just glad he didn't turn the ball over
@@mypetbeardedragon2186 He didn't play bad? How could you not say he played bad? You are right that he produced no turnovers, and that was really good, but 93 yards and 44% completion with zero touchdown passes is terrible. You want to stick with a quarterback producing those numbers? You just want to lose games then.
Great video. Mitch Trubisky being the last ranked backup shocked me, however as a bears fan I know that all too well. When he started for Pittsburgh for a few games 2022 and he was miserable as a QB
Malik Willis is absolutely way too high on this list. He always looked serviceable in the preseason, but anyone who follows the Titans knows that Willis was one of the worst quarterbacks to put in a uniform in the NFL in the past 20 years. That guy was fuckin terrible. Every time he was on the field it looked like he had zero idea how to throw a football and had zero pocket presence.
Not a titans fan but when Willis played in the London Game last year i literally was yelling at my TV “GET OUT OF THE POCKET” for 10 minutes straight. He has the worst pocket awareness of any QB i’ve ever seen play. It’s a shame, because i truly thought he would be a great pro but he just keeps shooting himself in the foot. Hopefully he can turn it around it Green Bay… aaaaaaand he just took a sack to end the game :(
I sincerely hope that he improves in GB because he seems like a very nice guy, but as of now I see him as just a great value Lamar Jackson. Hes a great scrambler but just terrible at everything else.
Honest question, who do you think the browns have a better shot of success with? Like you said, Winston is a serviceable QB and Watson only has 12 snaps over 3 years and a lot more baggage. Not to mention the difference in attitude, Winston seems like a multiplier whereas Watson just doesn't feel like him.
I think Malik Willis would be a fun guy to change positions he had pretty good speed and he’s fairly tall and not heavy by any means, give him a shot at wide receiver, if he bulked up a bit maybe a tight end.
This was an amazing video but why is Justin Fields, a very talented player ranked below taylor heinecke, jameis winston, tyrod taylor, joe flacco, and josh dobbs??
Dobbs is technically the qb3. Brandon Allen and Josh Dobbs play basically ranked out the same, and since Brandon was the 49ers qb3 last year and plays more like Purdy as a pocket passer rather than a scrambler, I think he won the room. Honestly I think I have the same amount of trust for both of them. Dobbs is just more well known.
@@Liquorice_Monster it wasnt, williams was by far the best QB in the draft, they had a chance to take him, and fields hadnt shown the ceiling and was three years into his contract. Give williams some time, this is his first career start, if hes a bust then you got me.
