Just a tip for someone looking to upgrade an old laptop HDD to SSD. DRAM or DRAMless it doesn't matter if you're not gonna edit videos on it. If it's going to be a simple browsing machine then choose any good branded SSD.

Mera pc 10 saal purana hai toh usme M.2 support bhi nahi hai. Han magar boot up speed bahot badh gaya hai. Mera system hai i5 3rd Gen, 8GB DDR3 1333GHz RAM, 1TB HDD.
Abhi kuch din pehle i7 mein upgrade kiya aur 1650 GDDR6 GPU lagaya. RAM ko bhi 16GB kar dunga kuch din baad. Max out ho jayega pc 😂

My XPG S 70 blade 2 Tb died after 3 months
It won't boot and when i check it in the nvme configuration it shows as MN-5236 and disk size shoes 2.1 GB and sometimes when i remove the drive and install it again it shows S 70 Blade 2TB and when i run a device self test ( controllor only ) my bios freezes
Also my nvme idles around a 50 C and the max reeding i have seen on hw monitor is 62 C

Any SSD better than normal harddisk, Normal Hard disk speed is 30mbps speed. any ssd speed is at least 150mbps.
HDD can give upto 70-100MBPS. Even my old laptop gives more than 30MBPS. But still SSD is faster and more energy efficient then older hard disk technology.
