Just a tip for someone looking to upgrade an old laptop HDD to SSD. DRAM or DRAMless it doesn't matter if you're not gonna edit videos on it. If it's going to be a simple browsing machine then choose any good branded SSD.

Jab maine liya tha mujhe yeh sab kuch bhi pata nahi tha aur aise hi khareed liya tha ek SSD, same apne jaisa bola ki sunte hain speed badh jayega toh le lete hain, maine bhi waise hi sunke liya, mera Maxtor ka 240GB SSD boot drive hai. Mera pc 10 saal purana hai toh usme M.2 support bhi nahi hai. Han magar boot up speed bahot badh gaya hai. Mera system hai i5 3rd Gen, 8GB DDR3 1333GHz RAM, 1TB HDD.
Abhi kuch din pehle i7 mein upgrade kiya aur 1650 GDDR6 GPU lagaya. RAM ko bhi 16GB kar dunga kuch din baad. Max out ho jayega pc 😂

I have purchased transcend 1tb sata ssd for ₹42,000 model no. is SSD370S it is mlc nand ssd it is too good. It gives fast, smooth, and stable performance compared to most tlc dram nvme ssds. I had to transfer 574GB data from main drive it took 18 minutes and some seconds to copy that much of data. Random performance is better than most of nvme ssds. windows boot in only 14 seconds. Overall it is mad kind of experience😆😆. This ssd is big upgrade from tlc.
The 1 TB version of this ssd is having endurance of whopping 3000TBW 😮. Overall this this the best ssd i had overcome with . Its been 4 months i had purchased it. It took me only 2 seconds to open davinci resolve. Overall the responsiveness of my PC is at 10 times as tlc dram ssd. If MLC feels this good, I can't even imagine how would the SLC feel. If you went from this ssd to those ones you have mentioned in this video imagine your experience would be like using tlc ssd and using compact optical disks directly.

I don’t think DRAM ssd have any use for storing data even HDD is better for viewing photos and Videos.
If you are editing then SSD can improve loading speed and more snappy otherwise for storage you can go with any DRAM LESS SSD
Recently...NVMe SSDs are affordable.... Especially 500GB and 1TB respectively...
So SATA SSD is only used for extra storage....

I replaced its VRAM with a nvidia 40608 gigs card today and boosted the DDR 3 RAM to 24 gigs however i dnt have a plan to change the MB and processor right now but for sure will do it in a cpl of years. As of now, i want to put a NVME ssd of 1tb with a Pcie x16 adapter which can remain a good performer even after i install the latest MB and Processor in near future but dnt know what to buy. To have WD Blue NVMe ssd with some SATA adapter in my older thinkpad e470 (dont have dedicated ssd slot)
I dont want to invest in sata ssd (anyway costs same) as in future I can still use this NVMe SSD to its full potential in some other future laptop.
I am blocked as many mentioned SATA adapter dont work with NVMe.
