in the present times we live, in poor countries so filled with corruption like mine brazil, its almost impossible not to lament and implore GOD to please come.and bring his kingdom and JUSTICE.thank you and GOD bless.

I certainly hope that God will clean the corruption and anti Christian attitude of many Latin American governments like he has already done in Argentina, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

Sinful Grumbling is also thoughout Exodus (chapt. 15,16,17,) and Numbers (14, 16,17)

sometimes laments can turn into grumble for a long unanswered prayer. sometimes we cross the borderlines especially when the pain and sanity are unbearable. especially when you have no vision of hope and full of despair.

True but the difference is still clear. Lament shows trust and hope while grumbling shows the opposite. God is all knowing and He will answer our prayers when He sees fit on His Time not ours. Can we be be faithful and humble, trusting He will do what He promises?

@@beeojeiks6516 Very True, I said that comment 10 months now and Im on my darkest moments at that time. Im so negative right? I lose hope and trust to GOD. Not knowing that im in the situation right now when all my prayers are answered. I didnt knew that suffering and pain only last for a while, while GOD is working to answering my prayers. I regret for not trusting him on those times. He is truly a GOD I can rely for.

Nothing you said was wrong. Nothing. You simply acknowledged a danger.
I am six years deep into such a situation. Bear in mind - this may not be the case for the person above, I don't think it is - that whomever feels the need to add something, even if it is just a very slight "rebuke", is, most likely, someone that had to "persevere" for a month, til the trial (a broken nail) grew back.
How many saints do you know that suffered through a Job-like experience that would contradict you?

Lamenting is about God and how we and the world have fallen short of those things God would want for us. Grumbling is about us and how God has fallen short of our own prideful desires.

I'm seeking to understand Lamenting vs. grumbling vs. complaining. I'm afraid to pray because what if I'm sinning in doing so? Is there space or room for telling God I'm about to go homeless because I've run out of credit on my credit cards? Is it sinful to say to God "I know you say you'll take care of me, but what gives? Help me to understand?" 8 months ago I had no debt except my car loan, which is small. I work a commission sales job, and have run out of money, been living on credit cards to pay rent and groceries, etc.. and that's about to run out. Now what? I truly don't understand, and I don't understand what to do next. Any biblical insight is helpful. I just came across this concept of lamenting.

@@lynnv8501 Read lamentations or jeremiah. Our everlasting father is there for us to come no matter what or how silly, crazy even, loud or tearful our cry is
Cry out to God and let the Holy Spirit convict you if you are in error.

Hi well I have been told that I am going to hell for my grumbling and it was the Lord in a dream that told me. When I am working as a hobby and get frustrated, I do grumble a lot but I do not think I bring God into my thought very much at the time. In fact I do not think that I grumble against God. Am I worried about it of course I am I am trying so hard seeking forgiveness. I thank you for the video and information, so I think that I have to be so careful in my prayers
