I am curious, what do you need to do, if you r playing Black? Do u need to rotate the board? Thanks.

Yes, the 5 kilo board needs rotated. I have 10mm high feet on the underside, so I can easily slip my fingers underneath and rotate it 180° in one motion. I then line it up to marks on the table, so it is in the correct position for the camera. Being Bluetooth, I "normally" have no cables to deal with (i.e., sometimes I play cabled too). I rotated the board to begin this match...

Hi Marc, I am wondering if the “Lazy Susan Round Rotating Turntable” will help. The board is just way too heavy to rotate. I actually have a “regular” DGT e-board (without BT), and I hard-wire the board to DGTPi/RBPi 5. Now, I think I need to figure out how to manage those wires… 😢

I've had others state that they are using a Lazy Susan. Rotating the board is not an issue for me.

@@Had2Ask I spoke with DGT customer support and they put the “do not need to flip the board when playing Black” in there R&D “wishlist”. Hopefully we will see they implement this function soon…
