- Triangulation in king and pawn endgames is an intermediate to advanced concepts, but we explain it for all levels of chess understanding. While the midwit concept of corresponding squares can be a bit dense, we wrap it up showing how simple mental models can help win more endgames.

This is the 3rd video in the series.
Thanks for explaining how to be more precise in the endgame. I’ve been playing better in the endgame because of this lesson.
Glad to hear it!
I need these lessons thank you!
You're so welcome!
Thanks. Losing quite a few bullet and blitz games because I don't know these things lol.
Haha too funny! Especially at that speed, I get freezed out of good thinking :)
@@PillagingPony Yeah for sure! 2 minute bullet games are my poison lol
wow - great video, you have a million subscribers in your future! - tell us your favorite 3 endgame books of all time?
Thanks! I really like Silman's Complete Endgame Course (easy/instructive mode) and Troitsky's Collection of Chess Studies (hard, make you question whether you understand the concept of chess mode).
Thanksbfor the video!
You bet! Thanks!
Very helpful
Thank you! Glad you found it useful :)

Glad to hear that!
Interesting situations, but he can't explain very good (though no queston he is a much better chess player than me). I listened to other people who pointed out much better the importance that the king who first moves out of opposition loses. I think this video lacks the introduce the abstract key principle to win, and THEN all the practical moves should follow. I guess that's also why he sounds unsure if his messages really reached the audience.
I appreciate the feedback MJ! I'm working on improving for each video, and this is very helpful.
I went deeper into Opposition in this video (main opposition content starts at 0:45) : 2.) Opposition Deep Dive: th-cam.com/video/iIp-0iNV2GM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=faeNsBDY4644oAl0
