A very clever, resourceful woman! The decorative touches, including the hand-painted wood panels (beautiful!), really make this van feel like a home. I hope you and your daughter enjoy lots of adventures together. You are really expanding your daughter's horizons!
Great van tour. I like the garage idea. I also like the skylight. The woodstove is cute, I'd like to learn more about them. The bed is great too. So unique. Thanks
You have the neatest cleanest water storage cabinet that I've seen on You tube! I love your style and how you have set up your home. I would have never knew that your daughter was traveling with you if you had not said so. Your home is so CUTE!
What a gorgeous build! Meagan's plan for the dash is going to be beautiful! I love that her daughter gets to be artistic and contribute to the aesthetic. I love the idea of a fort beneath the bed for her daughter! I would really dig that. I wish we could have had a peak at that. So many things in this home are so beautifully implemented, really well thought out and designed, and artistically finished. I would be so happy living in a beautiful home like this!
What an awesome build. And that daughter did a wonderful job on that wood finishing! Love the bed area and her little hangout nook. Blessings to you both and be safe 🙏🥰
Hi Seven, hello Meagan, my fellow Canadian. WOW! I would say that is pretty great fuel mileage from a 350 pushin' a big brick down the road. I love that you involved your daughter and allowed her to help Meagan, as it is also her home. The pallet wood looks fantastic and I especially dig all of the natural coloured live edge features. The skylight is phenomenal! Your place is very homey and comfy looking, but with four generations of family having a hand in it that was inevitable. I love all of the repurposing you've done and the biodegradable soaps and such are really smart too. You have made that rig into a beautiful home and please tell Molly that her work absolutely adds to the appeal. Thanks for the tour guys! ...................................PEACE!!
I love this one! The interior is so pretty and homey. I would love having one like it. A really super job on this. Congrats, Meagan, and thx for sharing it.
Meagan I don't have an Instagram account so I hope you get notifications for comments on Seven's video. What a great job you've done, I am so excited to see how everyone sets up their vehicles and I surely intend to use some of your great ideas on the van I end up getting next year. I'm in Mississauga and just working on downsizing and saving up some cash to go all in to the vanlife. Thank you both for taking the time to share with us :) :) :)
Your van is one of my favourites! It’s cosy and spacious. I loved almost everything specially your wood stove ; i think it is really cool . It gives a homely feeling. I also loved the cosy private space for your daughter and your bed as well.
How lucky that you are pals with Ray; I'm pretty intimidated by electrical, too. But you seem super handy because your interior is awesome. Really cozy and a pleasantly welcoming space, Meagan. And it's sweet that your daughter is sleeping, basically, in a trundle bed. A pioneer throwback appropriate for pioneering women! Good luck! - Ben
I really enjoyed this video Seven. Meagan has created a cozy and functional space and special home for herself and her daughter. Her organization in the back garage is amazing! Nice and neat with everything in its place. She should start an interior design consulting business for van and other dwellers.
Charming and cozy. Really like the interior and exterior. I'm so impressed by your and your daughter doing so much of the build. Best wishes to creative mom and daughter.
I'm a guy and am not into frilly stuff, but that is the nicest step-van conversion I've seen yet (out of a hundred or so). Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
......WOW!!.......now thatz a childhood........your daughter is also talented and it;s nice to see the way she has worked to contribute to the ambiance of your shared home......go with God......:)
Fantastic job Meagan, im on the west coast, full time now for three and a half years. You had me laughing from the moment you said you have a cushion problem, I love the way you have done your build, as only a woman can do, as we guys have no sense of design sense when it comes to making a space a home. I am currently in a 1979 Dodge Jayco Mini, which serves my purpose for now, just me and my cat [ a rescue from the Baja mexico) you have given me some very good ideas about design, as i am currently looking at moving up to a larger RV. If you ever need any mechanical advice, i am a retired Heavy duty mechanic and engineer inventor. No strings because your too young for me,,hahaha. Anyway,,happy trails girl,, may your tank always be full. Alex
It's really pretty but still practical. As she spoke, it was obvious that the build reflects her personality perfectly. I love how respectful she is of her daughter too.
I really enjoyed this one, I like the childs private space under the bed . I'm from Sudbury Ontario. I'll be heading south in the fall to get away from the Canadian winter also. If I downgrade from my 40ft skoolie, I want a step van like that.
One theme I am seeing with the step vans is that there is no room for a dedicated bathroom. I am converting a school bus, but was very curious about the step vans, wanted to see layouts, get ideas if a step van would be a good down-sizing vehicle for the future. I would need a dedicated bathroom, so I am bummed that I have not seen one yet. This step van, though, is one of the best ones I have seen thus far. Very nice inside!
Nice tiny house on wheels wow! My tip if you want music in your step van just get portable speakers & connect your mp3 player or portable cd player & that will save you a lot of money so yeah let me know what you think!
Love this build! Being from Ontario, thinking about building out a step truck or box truck. Main concern is keeping my dogs comfortable in the extreme weather, hot/cold.
You might want to do a search of this channel with a guy named Dennis who did an exceptional job on insulating his step van. I was quite impressed about his technique.
Waaaay cool. As a kid i would have loved that lil cubby hole! Beautifully done! Way to go! Id have the fire extinguisher mounted& visable. Sky light simply dreamy! Wait ,7,??? her stepvan makes your mouthwater? Bahahaha!. She is cute as a bugs ear . Hahaha chew on that mr hilariously slobbering over her build. Crack me up!
Tip for heat where you want. Place a tiny fan near where you want the heat and face it toward the heat or straight up. Works like a charm without blowing cool air toward you.
I first wanted a step van and had a idea. I was thinking on the right side way up cut a opening and make a second story porch where you can sit and look out very high where people will pass underneath and can’t see you. It has to be a side sliding door I think that underneath could be a bed don’t need to stand up. It’s would seem really a large house on a small scale. But I brought a ford van high top instead. But really custom nice inside.
I did a tour of Brian's box truck where he has a rear deck and similar idea. however, his bed is on a motorized lift that rises to the ceiling. you might enjoy that tour (look for it in my "tours playlist")
How cool is that, she has done a fantastic job of making a low cost comfortable home on the road. VERY NICE!
Love the separation of cat litter and home. 2:12
As long as she remembers to change it regularly! Hahaha I probably wouldn't without the stink to remind me.
@@thisiswilson I was thinking the same thing.
I love this build. She did a lovely job on the interior. The seafoam colour goes so well with the airy feel in the van.
Wow stunning build, she did an awesome job!
A very clever, resourceful woman! The decorative touches, including the hand-painted wood panels (beautiful!), really make this van feel like a home. I hope you and your daughter enjoy lots of adventures together. You are really expanding your daughter's horizons!
it is quite charming
Great van tour. I like the garage idea. I also like the skylight. The woodstove is cute, I'd like to learn more about them.
The bed is great too. So unique. Thanks
Yes, isn't the skylight great?
Beautiful van build out. Can really feel her spirit and strength through her design and color choices. Love seeing this. Thank you Seven.

He isn't kidding, This is one of the best Step-vans I have seen!

What a score that van was! And Meagan has done a really good job.
The cat's tail cracks me up! The bed set-up is genius! The live-edge counters are beautiful.
the cat kept trying to stand in front of the camera

I agree. A real favorite for me too.
From Ontario as well. Canadian winters are brutal so can understand why you needed to get away. Bravo to you for your build.
Love the exterior! The inside feels like such a cozy place! Congratulations!
I love it!!! Very nice layout and her own little space - great idea. You have a very nice ( and cozy ) home. Safe travels!!
Beautiful conversion! Great idea to have a place her daughter can draw on without ruining anything! Thank you for sharing.
Great looking home, both inside and out! What memories you will have with your daughter! Happy and Safe travels.
Awesome home , projected positive energies are abundantly evident .
How lucky that you are pals with Ray; I'm pretty intimidated by electrical, too. But you seem super handy because your interior is awesome.

I agree with you. Be a consultant or actually hire out to do the work.
Beautiful step van. Finished out very well. The fiberglass body seem to be unique.
I suggest you make some of the cupboards a white chalkboard paint so that your daughter can draw and redraw new artwork every few days. 😁
Charming and cozy. Really like the interior and exterior. I'm so impressed by your and your daughter doing so much of the build. Best wishes to creative mom and daughter.
Beautiful step van tour. This was great. Thanks for sharing.
Sooooooo cute! I just love it. Homey and comfortable.....you did a great job!
I'm a guy and am not into frilly stuff, but that is the nicest step-van conversion I've seen yet (out of a hundred or so). Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
I like Meagan's hat and her home.
Cute step van you have there.. love the llouver window shutter too!
I kept thinking I saw this before. She's concise and talented. Thanks for another insightful tour!
NIce Conversion. Thank you for sharing. We have a 95 Roadtrek. we love it, been on the road for 9 years.
Really sweet tour! Nice job Seven! Hope your license situation gets fixed soon!
Excellent video bro that is one nice van inside and out, it all seams to fit Meagan's personality. All the best
I'm seeing many mini wood stoves in these vehicles. Such a fabulous invention. Must be so toasty inside on a cool night.
I'm hoping to install one in the future sometime
LOVE your cozy home. Great build!
She's done a lovely job of converting her van - Adorable!
Wow !!! How pretty AND functional ! Her colors and wood combos are restful and at the same time motivating. Thank you for sharing.

It's really pretty but still practical. As she spoke, it was obvious that the build reflects her personality perfectly. I love how respectful she is of her daughter too.

That step van is a GMC / Lennoxvan body. Came from St-Jean-Baptiste FD in Quebec and originally from Marieville FD (QC)!
Nice build, she drove me crazy with the upspeak at the end of her sentences. Good luck out there young one.
What a beautiful home for you and your daughter!

Good work, Megan. Your daughter's got talent :-)
Fantastics .. . Rah rah rah ...fabbo ..😁
Very beautiful step van.
My favorite step van build by far, and she is awesome. Going to go follow on IG immediately. 💞💞
You said it, "mouth watering." Just spectacular. Did I miss the bathroom issue?
Tip for heat where you want. Place a tiny fan near where you want the heat and face it toward the heat or straight up. Works like a charm without blowing cool air toward you.
smart tip!
Heated flooring is the way to go for small areas. Makes the stove only necessary in very cold temps.
