Sitting with us on your floor as you talk is a truly fantastic move on your part. You're making it personal, and that adds just that much more to your already valuable content.

You have confirmed my growing lack of faith in AI. I was a huge fan and relieved initially but lately I noticed that I cannot rely on it for strategy information. In the same day I asked it a question about best practices for generating a video title. Chatty said it was not necessary to add hashtags to the title. I asked it another question and it said to add hashtags to the title...so I asked didn't you just say that wasn't necessary and the response was pretty much, 'oh yeah, my bad.' I am exaggerating of course but it has started contradicting itself and becoming unreliable. Personally, I have never relied on it for content because my content is NOT common knowledge. It can give me an outline which I rework and that's about it.

Same I’ve caught it on contradictions as well which i was somewhat glad for because it allows me to trust myself more or find more resources when my trust of what it’s saying is low.😂😂

Yea, the reality is that AI really isn't great as a research tool, asking AI for actionable advice tends to not go so well and it really likes to hallucinate. It's usually best to do your own research and leave AI to create content outlines/frameworks for you to work off of.

...it important to note that this comment was written with chatGPT! 🙂 Great video. Fundamentals and hard work are still required to win no matter what the technology or shortcut you find. Laziness kills.

    GPT 4o from just today:
I asked it how to phrase a caveat for my portfolio website stating that some of the work shown was copyright of the clients I did the work for. It happily gave me a nicely phrased line to use.
Much later, I had a similar question about trademark, because I reference the name “Fortune 500" as a sort of adjective. It told me how to make a statement that "Fortune 500" was trademarked.
I asked it "Hey so that makes me wonder, what about the copyright notice from earlier, should I state that the work in my portfolio is copyright AND trademark of my clients?"
It then explained that, yes indeed I should use both terms, and gave me a nicely worded line to use with both terms.
You definitely have to watch out for this kind of thing, AI will often just give you exactly what you asked for, but it can't always think abstractly enough to make other relevant suggestions that would be obvious to an expert on the topic.

That's a great example of how AI can be useful, but it's important to always fact-check and use your own judgment.

And it continually uses the word "elevate" too. I can tell sites who employ AI on their basic services. So I have written a prompt that removes all of the "fluff" from chat.

Video content is also becoming "saturated" in every niche.

I've noticed YT is so saturated that video providers are using more extreme measures to catch peoples eyes and clicks.
Like titles that are blatant lies and screenshots that have noting to do with the videos topic.

In many ways you are right, especially in the entertainment sector but the good news is that many businesses have a huge untapped market on TH-cam for infotainment style videos. It's not nearly as saturated as you might think.😉

I have watched so many of your videos and I have avoided this question for months and I can’t anymore. The inner voices have won…

I tried to hold it in but I just can’t 😂 I gotta know 😅

Hey Wes. Have watched hours of your videos. Thank you SOOOO much for what you put out. Do you have any videos that discuss the perfect home page for businesses with multiple products. I have an online school with multiple courses. I will have landing pages for each course, but I want the home page not to be too cluttered or too sparse either. There would be multiple CTA's just by the very nature. Do I add testimonials here or on the pages for the individual courses ( I have many great video testimonials). It's those little conundrums. Any direction would be hugely appreciated. Or indeed any of your programmes :o)

AI is not all knowing. You have to teach it what you want it to do. You have to feed it enough information to generate anything that is beyond the basic data set the llm is built upon.

So, what you are saying is "Say goodbye to blogs and say hello to videos/podcasts". Personally. I watch more than I read when I am researching. The only reading that I do is when I read a book.
