The tens at 12:00 is an easy fold after the 3-bet with the guy behind. Most 1/2 players have a hard time folding full houses, but this spot is a more profitable fold in the long run.
I really like how you broke down these hands playing very differently according to villains playstyle/mistakes.

Good, basic pointers that are easy to understand and implement. Well done. One good thing my friends and I do, we play in the same games, and point out or missteps after we play. Helps a lot.
That's awesome great practice that is and you're helping one another no matter how good you are in any even if you're the best in the world you can still learn until that day comes the game is absolutely 100 percent masterd as this game will never be bye any one I believe though stu ungar if he went a different way he may have in time masterd this game 100 percent like he did gin then took this game up cuz no one in the world would play him gin any more and band from tournaments for being to good gl in life and poker wish you nothing but the best for the future 😉 if this game is masterd its more than a being human it would be something that can't be explained at all a gift like what Unger had he knew things no one did but didn't know how he just knew his words
16:22 As soon I see the third club show up I'm putting the opponent on Ace-X of clubs. A lot of the people I play with will slow play trips but once they see a flush draw get far more aggressive.

If I had it in my budget to buy your tools, I would definitely do it. Your vids have been some of the most insightful. Not many big time players focus on the small stakes players. Seems they all think that everyone play 5/10.

In the TT hand, if you have the T of clubs, are you not much more inclined to fold the turn? Even if your opponent is a lunatic you'd be blocking so many of the potential bluffs.

calling pushy raises from out of position, or re raising really LAGGY players, has always been hard.. so yea, it helps to have this info to combat them with.
At 26:00 you talk about not emulating the bad players at the table and reference raising 6bb preflop as being a pad play. Can you or anyone else clarify why this is bad?

Reading players is my strength its my betting and raising i have issues.
Interesting the recommendation with the TT full house hand is not to 3-bet ever pre-flop (unless it's a very loose player). MPT by Acevedo recommends this is a 3-bet or fold spot pre-flop, and that there is a 3-bet there maybe 10% of the time. The rest of the time it is a fold.
It goes to show everyone has a different style in certain spots, even the experts.
The ranges in MPT (which I helped write) are not designed to maximally exploit weak players.

is Ax a good bluff here? maybe bit for small stakes but in general? you block the nut boat with it, basically the villain sould need the one single ace left _and_ a jack to have the first nuts. and if it’s possible to push u off a TTTAA then maybe you could push off JJJAA as well? tbh i don’t know what i’m talking abt. still very early to the game

Around 17:30 you're talking about people who don't have notes against the other players. I watched a video from some pro player (don't remember if it was you or someone else) and they suggested that you can always play really conservatively for a few minutes to get into the swing of things and get reads on your opponent's playstyles. It made sense to me, so I figured I'd comment on it, but I honestly have no clue if that's a solid strategy :P
You usually do not want to give up any reasonable edge hoping you have the chance to get a future edge. So, it really depends on what you mean by "conservatively".

I think it’s a good call with the 10’s on the turn but after a jam like that you need to fold and pat yourself on the back for a good lay down. If I knew the player is playing tight and only plays the nuts it’s an easy fold on the turn.
isnt aaj w tt _sort of_ a draw? Like if the. board hits A or T then you make a boat? going from marginal to premium. idk im under slept

my number one mistake is not fixing my leaks
i play too loose and always get sucked into calling when my opponents have the nuts

Recognizing and fixing one’s own leaks can be difficult. Especially if someone only plays live (like me)...because it’s comparatively slow. Also I think the majority of players can’t really play as often as they would actually like to.

I don’t get it!!!!! Some coaches say 3 bet preflop or fold in 1/3!!! Now JL says never 3b TT vs utg!!!
Exploiting mistakes made by opponents is crucial, HOWEVER a huge mistake I see people making is that they see an opponent play 1 hand in a certain way that is exploitable, and make massive assumptions about that player's playing style based on what is an incredibly small sample size. It's important to have a baseline strategy that will turn a profit against all types of players, and when you have a large enough sample size and enough evidence that a certain player plays a certain way and has a leak because of it, then that's when you adjust your game against said player.
When you make an assumption about how a player plays from just a couple hands you put yourself in a very dangerous spot because if your read is wrong, then you stand to lose a lot of money against said player

Definitely bankroll management. For ex I won and finished 3rd n a short period of time playing the 8k 10$ buy in. I cashed half out and went straight to the big dawgs and got my ass kicked
You say find someone who can pinpoint your flaws, but its so difficult to find someone without paying some fair cash. I dont know any players at all and all my learning comes from watching you tube, but a lot of that doesnt even apply to my games. I am loathe to go to 2+2 and the like as you have no idea who the good posters are with so many differing opinions on hands etc. I know many people have grown in the game together as a group, but if you dont know anyone like I dont then its real difficult.

@@jerryjohnson6127 If i have qq plus i never raise or reraise preflop if I am not in the blinds. Wait for them to squeeze from the button or blinds, then repop. in small game they will usually call or reraise me
@@tporcheron And you could be facing 4 villains which will drastically lower the equity you had with your QQ+ against just one opponent. This, of course, is without know what position you were in apart from it not being the blinds.

Would you 3-bet with 10-10 on the cutoff or the button?
On the button we can call a lot because we know for a fact we are going to be in position the whole hand. Because we want to call a lot, we need to have some strong hands that call too. This means we 3-bet with a POLAR range including hands like AA KK QQ AK AND AQ and also some A5suited and 109suited for our bluffs. If we want to call a hand like J10suited on the button and we raise TT, then our calling range is very weak and our opponent can start to attack us since we never have anything better than TT.

Very good stuff but way to verbose!
Similar in technique as a snake oil salesman.
One who is so masterful at his craft yet devotes far more time selling strategy and product vs exercising his craft. Dozens of hours a week creating videos and sales pitches must be more profitable than playing the game for which the strategy is being sold. I suppose once the secret sauce recipe has been exposed one can no longer play the game as he becomes the “exploitee “ since his strategy has been broadcast to the world on myriad social media networks
Pretty much everything he puts on TH-cam is not about specific strategy but more so employing a strong fundamental base. You might also want to take into consideration that he didn’t start putting volume into coaching until he started his family and couldn’t/wouldn’t spend time away from them to play poker.
You don't understand 2 basic principles: 1. there are many levels of play and these courses are meant in particular for entry level players - so they can beat the other entry level players, not to beat the world class players. 2. A balanced strategy does not allow you to be exploited even if the opponent knows exactly what your strategy is...

Tbh, seems like you’re a tad bitter when it come to poker. No matter how good the information is... if the person using it can not apply it correctly, it will never work. You might want to consider actually going to the coaching site and going through some of the classes and doing the quizzes and homework assignments. Something tells me that if you had done that already you wouldn’t be putting it down. You might not even know what you don’t know. I’m very happy with my membership so far (seriously) and its only been a week for me

$7m+ in cashes suggests that he can, indeed, do.
But for sure, exploiting his skill set by selling training materials is way lower variance than big tournament poker.
A snake oil salesman says 'buy this - it'll solve all your problems' - JL has never made that sort of claim; his whole schtick is that you need to take this stuff and use it by putting in a ton of work away from the tables.
If you look in the mirror and say "Jonathan Little" 5 times, you will win your next session or tournament. #ScientificFact
