  • Just created this little tool to optimize my engraving settings. In theory, these settings have linear dependency. I am publishing this idea so it can be proved or disproved. USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! BEWARE OF LIMITATIONS OF YOUR DEVICE! Such as frequency range of Raycus is different from JPT.

Nice job. Much better than just a link to download, you teach step by step how to do it. nice1

Is this only for engraving or can it be used at markings aswell? I will try it and se what happens.
Can you do a lesson on the parameters?`what they are and how to set/use dem?

How do you integrate Pulse Duration (Q) into these calculations? This factor has a significant impact on color with various materials.

My laser do not support Q pulse so I really cannot help you with it. :(

It's nothing to share, all formulas are listed in video, you can write them for 1 min

Don't know where is the TC setting on ezcad...

Right under your pen settings on the right after frequency. Start TC (set to what you need)/Laser Off TC (100)/End TC (set to what you need)/ Polygon TC (100). TC settings are different depending not only on speed and power, but on type of engraving you do. I may do video on it someday. It can be tricky.
